Ah yeah that one was the old one, there's a newer one just starting to air but I haven't liked the newer ones as much, but will probably still check it out.

Oh one of the games I tried out had bugged trophies, that kind of worried me as I thought It would prevent others from different games from unlocking.
But it seems like it's just this one game. It might sync up eventually... hate when that happens though.

I was going to start Metaphor but then the steam winter sale started and I thought it would be rude not to buy something XD I found a game called Drova, small indie game that plays kind of like a 2D Gothic, really good game and punishing at times. I like when a game doesn't just put up a wall to stop me getting places, rather they put crazy OP monsters in an area and I can only go there when I'm ready, it really helps sell me on the fantasy that I'm actually having to defeat really strong adversary's by letting me get beaten into a red mist rather then just being told my enemies are tough...Looking at you Bethesda XD

So early rumours were that Sony was going to buy Kadokawa but they've actually just bought out a lot of Kadokawa's share's which has made them the primary share holder, which isn't great new's but it's better then a buyout. A lot of Streamers were talking about it because it would mean Sony also acquired FromSoft which given how Sony's poor decision-making has cost them over $500 million this year was cause for concern XD I'm still worried about their plans for anime and manga distribution though, Kadokawa produces so much anime, it's impossible for me to watch a season of anime without stumbling upon at least one show they've produced and having Sony that close to the creative decision making process scares me XD Sony's also very censorship heavy these days which wouldn't be to bad for Kadokawa TBH, most of their shows are pretty tame but there's quite a lot of smut on their manga store...don't ask me how I know XD I don't like the thought of Sony trying to enforce its overly puritan censorship on new Manga tho.

Speaking of the Popular shows have you ever watched Dungeon Meshi? I needed something to watch with the family over Christmas so I put it on, mainly to fill in the silence but it was actually a really good show. I love food so an anime about people going through a dungeon eating all different monsters and cooking real but fantasy inspired recipes was always going to be a slam-dunk for me XD

I think the most amount of characters that I liked in one Anime probably is Grisaia.
I especially like the Kazami siblings. Would absolutely love a figure of Yuuji, but for some reason he doesn't have one o.0 which makes no sense as he's by far the most prominent character, yet it's only the girls that have figures.

I met up with remaining family earlier in the month for a meal and present exchange, so Xmas day is usually pretty quiet, everyone in my family does their own thing.
I got a bit stressed trying out a gift off my nephew and his girlfriend, so that made dinner a little late, but it was alright in the end.

The Pop up parade line seems pretty common in stores that sell figures, so I guess it wasn't a total suprise. I have even seen different Danganronpa pop up parade ones, just not Junko😅
Very very rarely see big figures like the Junko bunny one, probably not enough demand for those.

Yeah if that's not on I might go to some other free ones, just have to check the dates when their on.

Oh I do like it, but I just think I don't quite have the patience for games as I used to. I did play and complete 2 ecchi Anime games on the PS4 earlier, they were short & easy platinum trophy ones but were pretty fun.

Yeah, it's something I know that can happen sometimes with them. There's an option that you can pay them after delivery that probably cuts down on stuff like that, but I never usually pick that option, maybe I should though 😅

Yeah it's quite true from my experience of them. Even the bigger stores will mainly stock figures from the most popular Anime, can be difficult finding something you actually want, although I guess you could get them to order it in, but by that point you could just order it yourself 😅
The only time I've seen a Junko Enoshima figure in a store was in Spain on vacation last year 😂

Yeah it like is and isn't with the game. I think the curiosity definitely was the main reason I played it, but the combat especially is very primitive compared to the 2nd game, also the upgrades. The stuff I'm so used to doing easily I just can't do with this game, and the rest of it is not really worth sticking with for a big gameplay. So yeah... it's slow progress so far 😅

I actually also found one place online that made custom plushies, and they had Rin Tokikaze as an option, but I saw the picture wasn't actually of her, so didn't really want to take the leap unless I perhaps contact them about the error. Was amazed to see that though, I sometimes think I'm the only person in the world who likes her😅

Yeah, sometimes they scam you in other ways. Like recently I ordered a board game from them, and they sent me a lump of metal with 3 plastic balls.
Would probably cost me to send the stuff back, so I just took the L, although I was annoyed as it was Xmas presents for family, and it was too late by then, I just rush-bought something else :(

Etsy seems to be a mix of stuff. Some of it absolutely will be stolen artwork, but some of it probably is made by sellers or ai. I guess maybe just image search the same design, although that's not really a guarantee 😅 good luck on the hunt anyway :)

Yeah Liverpool I go to fairly often for wrestling shows or to travel onwards on Trains, so I often look around when I'm there.
Yeah it's similar over here. Some chain bookstores will sell a few manga, chain media stores will sell them too, as well as anime.
Stand-alone Animanga stores don't tend to do well. My hometown had an independent store for a bit, but it didn't last long, which sucks a little.

I have seen somewhere that the bunny figure that did get released was based off a game that featured the same design, so I guess that makes sense, even if it's pretty obscure.

Ah cool :D well sometimes you really don't know if you'll like something until you play it.
The first Akiba's Trip game is good, but I already don't like it anywhere near as much as the 2nd game. The story isn't as interesting, combat & characters are a little dull, although strangely I like the graphics much more. It's adapted from a PSP game, but it's looks amazing and totally different from the 2nd game. Maybe I'll like it the more I play it though, haven't gotten too far into it yet.

A lot of JRPG's seem to suffer with that sort of pacing problem, I don't mind a slow exp gain if the story is equally slow and laid out but if it goes into the 30 hour mark without picking up the pace a little it just makes me kind of lethargic to play it XD
Saying that I still haven't started metaphor XD I find with big games like that I need to set aside an evening to really get into them especially JRPG's, Like 2 hours in and your still getting bombarded with tutorial messages XD So I picked up Hitman since it was on sale which to be honest I think is my perfect kind of game. Short hour long levels so I can play a bit and feel fulfilled and having total freedom of choice in how you complete each level is what I think great games are all about^^
BTW Have you heard about the Sony-Kadokawa Merger?

I think there's alot of B-tier shows out there with good ideas that get passed up on by most people but if no ones talking about it then I don't have any preconceptions about a show so I wont have anything spoiled or have it hyped up to a level I'll ultimately be disappointed by, I watched The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians and I liked it, I don't think anyone needs to watch it but it's got a competent story and a unique style so I was able to enjoy it ^^

A good way I find to tell if a popular show is good is how much people were talking about it before it came out, I heard lots of hype for Frieren and Oshi No Ko, S1 not S2 XD So people were actually excited for them not just corpo's like Crunchyroll trying to shill the next big thing. Although that doesn't always work, people were really hype for solo-leveling which after watching it I just really didn't understand why XD
I've seen so many C-tier Isekai that just watching some guy kill of a host of generic Isekai protags was actually kind of cathartic XD There was one scene though that left me questioning my sanity XD The MC is falling to the ground which would be certain death but as he falls he say's "I wonder if I can kill my Speed?" which he does, it was such a random but self-aware joke it actually broke me XD

If it ain't, broke don't fix it XD I need to have a proper look at burnice and figure out what her skill set and meta are, but its a little annoying that OG characters like Nicole and Nekomata have only got a couple lines describing their abilities but Burnice and Lighter have got a couple of pages describing theirs XD

😂 maybe, I'm not sure but I swear I've seen something like that even before this game. It's definitely the sort of thing you expect to see on a pervy Japanese gameshow lol.

Ah yeah I've only ever had one actual figure that was a bootleg from them, and it was total junk. I guess the actual model wasn't bad, but her arm kept falling off along with her clothes and she was meant to sit on something that they never supplied because they don't bother making it, but show it in the picture anyway. Didn't keep, I threw it away.
Although I'm sorta tempted to get one of their bootleg Pop up parade Junko figures and paint it a different colour, as I quite liked the brownish uniform she sometimes wears. But I don't really trust my painting skills and I'd have to travel back to my hometown most likely as we don't have any modelling shops here to get paint 😅
I try not to get many bootleg things anymore, but sometimes they do seem to create their own things (obviously not crediting the original creator though), or just plain crazy stuff. I also buy from them Streets of Rage 2 carts that are sprite hacked to change the characters of the game, with their own custom moves. I own one with Hatsune Miku & Sonic in it, and one with Sailor Moon characters. Their pretty fun, but I'm so used to the base game that's hard to play sometimes 😂

😂 That probably wouldn't stop me lol. I do have space on the other shelves, although there's kind-of a theme going on with them. The shelf below Waifu shelf is half Hatsune Miku and half Seifuku wearing figures. Below that is figures wearing bikinis. Don't really wanna mess up what's there already, but will see😂
Ah cool :) yeah I started trying out a few of those acrylic figures, as I thought I might get addicted to buying figures 😅 I got most from eBay, but the rest I got from when I go to Liverpool (not sure if you know that? It's a pretty big City, especially by UK standards lol) where they have stores that sells figures. One store has the entire bottom floor dedicated to Japanese hobby stuff, it's amazing.

Where I live here actually has 3 free Comic Cons a year. They have them at the Market here, the sellers just use the stalls already in place instead of the regulars. Their not... absolutely amazing, but there's not much else to do around here, so definitely worth going to😂 I've been to 1 actual Anime Con (it was also a Gaming Con too) and that was much better and bigger. I always go to them by myself though and feel a little awkward at them😅 nobody else I know likes Anime, their fun places to visit though.

I actually myself can't find the exact figure...? but it was basically this one but with more white on the legs, with pink blood splatter on it.

From the sounds of it though it was a concept figure, don't think it even got into the early stages of production as I can't find an entry of it on MFC.

Ah I want to get Punchline. I remember seeing all over the place when it came out but wasn't interested (that's another PS4 game though). But I watched the Anime of it not too long ago and loved it, now I just can't find the game anywhere anymore 😂 still haven't found many good looking PS5 games yet though.

Ah the group of 3 acrylic stand figures in the middle (Junko, Rin, 8bit Junko & panty) are all legit ones, the rest are either bootlegs of existing ones or just obviously printed off a design 😅

She is a bit I suppose? (out of season), but she's still so iconic. Almost every time I go to an Anime or Comic Cons I see someone cosplaying Junko.
I was very excited about the bunny figure, as I'd already known about Kirigiri's bunny one, although I remember seeing a prototype model of Junko carrying a gun and looking all bloody and thought that looked a little better. Sexy pose Junko is a little random and out of character, but very much welcomed😂
Yeah my bunny figure cost me a lot too, probably almost £400 in the end, as I had import charges that I wasn't expecting, worth it though lol😰

Yeah I remember the game that didn't all transfer over was one that I actually put the disc in for, as it gave me the option to do that and I didn't know exactly what I was doing 😅 might give it another go or just stick to playing it on the PS4.

I've heard people complain about some of SAO characters, but I don't really remember what exactly it was they didn't like about them. Yeah same costumes but different poses. I think one is by SEGA and the other two I think were from Taito? She also has a couple of bigger resin figures that came out a while back but no doubt they'll be insanely expensive and would take up room :'(

Oh...I did get a PS5😅 (slim version) I'm still figuring it out, but it happily plays my PS4 discs, although some DLC stuff it didn't transfer ove to it. Might try it again though, I might have messed up instead of it.

Yeah, I thought Arise was a massive downgrade compared to Bersaria. The combat seemed really grindy and when I saw they were selling levels it was something that kept bothering me whenever the combat got slightly difficult.
How's Metaphor? I only just picked it up today so I've got no idea what to expect, seems like fantasy Persona XD Factorio has finally released its first DLC so that basically consumed every single waking moment of my life for the past month so I haven't really done anything else XD When I close my eyes I have nightmares about running out of coal and everything getting eaten XD

I've kind of felt that anime has dropped off compared to a few years ago but when I looked at a lot of shows that I remember watching fondly like Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! or Oniai or Love Tyrant, I realised that these shows don't even rank in the top 5000 shows on MAL. KamiKatsu was one of my favourite shows last year but it ranks 1241 place in terms of popularity on MAL....I've mentioned before saying that its a travesty that people have rated these shows to low but I see it now....Some of my favourite shows are kind of B-Tier....This was a painful realisation XD
Because of this I decided to watch the first trashy/B-tier looking show I could find to test if it was just me that has no taste, and this is where is stumbled upon "My Instant Kill ability is OP"....I loved it XD It's an Isekai and with a title like that it sounded generic and lame as hell right? Wrong. MC is transported to a Fantasy world with 30ish classmates who all get crazy OP powers except for 4 people including MC, his power to instantly kill people is something he could always do, the whole show is him traveling around stumbling into parodies of OP hero's like you find in Power fantasy shows like Arifureta or in another world with my smartphone and instantly killing them whenever they try to act all powerful, it was honestly hilarious XD So yeah I have no taste XDXDXD

I was hype for Burnice but to be honest I never use her XD I have a main party with Ceaser, Lucy and Piper that works really well so I've completely neglected her XD The new ones look ok but TBH I'll probably pass on the next special pull so I can bank them for one I really want to get^^

Ah yeah wrestling is probably one of my oldest hobbies/interests, usually go to shows in-person 2-3 times a month more or less.
Most of the stuff I see is very samey, but I really enjoyed the last show I went to, already got my ticket for the next show next month 😁

Before I could only make really small ones that had auto generated words related to whichever list it was on them, and some would have black edges that was hard to get rid of. I thought they looked awful... you can still some old users around that still have them.
The only really problem I have is just finding something I want to use and making it line up correctly, as i think there's a mechanism in place to limit height. I noticed they left the old way of generating signatures still there though? so now there's two ways lol, definitely the new way is much better imo.

Yeah I liked My Dress Up Darling more than I thought I would actually, really liked her dressing up as the succubus, I have a MAL set of her as that i made that I use sometimes. She's having like 3 new anime figures of her dressed up like that coming next year, and I plan to buy all 3 lol, big fan😍

Ah same actually, been reading more manga and watching Pro Wrestling than Anime, actually just got back from a wrestling show, got there late and missed some matches :( what I saw was good though. But yeah hope to finish some anime I'm watching currently, not really enjoying either of them lol.

Ah I'd seen some users make them in previous years, and just before Halloween time I saw a few, but they didn't keep them long. Might have been others in some different forums though, but didn't see many overall. I had a Marin Kitagawa Halloween set & pfp, I'm pretty bad at making sets, but it wasn't a bad attempt by me😅
Ah yeah I know.... I've never had that happen previously, but some people/kids take advantage of that time of year to cause mischief.
I got it off pretty quickly and left no lasting affects.
