Oh, the 5th season! I heard it, some people said it was boring also, maybe because after all those fights with the villain, we went back to the classroom and they were "fighting" with classmates instead, haha. Personally, I love it because it gave us time to get to know the characters more, especially the students. But I agree that that was not that interesting because I think MHA had the same struggle as other shonen out there, like it has too many characters and you couldn't show the best from all of them. It has too many students and heroes, but a few villains. That was what makes the villain more interesting somehow, not seeing them makes you miss them or feel like something was missing, and you also miss the tension they bring whenever they showed up.
Ow, thank you!! Thank you for remembering me as a fellow romance anime lover!! >< I don't have many friends who enjoy romance anime or manga that much, like me. Usually, they love anime with romance as a subplot of subtle romance, like The Apothecary Diaries or Attack on Titan. I do enjoy that a lot too, but I don't usually get romance anime recommendations from them. Don't worry. I am sure I will be able find time to give it a try. I love your last recommendation, Josee, so I trust you. ^^
And about Blue Box, it is romance, but it is also a shonen. A few characters there, not only the main characters, have common shonen characteristics, like having a goal they want to pursue, never giving up, having positive thinking most of the time, etc. I read the manga also, and honestly I read more than I had updated here, hehe. At first, in the first few arcs, I didn't really like the romance part [spoiler alert] because it has kind of a love triangle but not really a love triangle, kind of because you know the third person didn't have the chance to begin with, which I am not a fan of [spoiler ended here]. But after that, sure, I enjoy it more because I love how natural the main characters relationship is, how they motivate each other towards their goals, and how they always support each other. The anime did the manga justice so far. Well, sometimes the animation is not that good, but at other times they did great. I don't know what happened, but that is it, haha. I also love the first OP and ED. They are so great!! Giving me energy and lifting up my mood every time I play those two songs!! I love to play them before I work!! They sing by Hidegan and Eve. They even put the "Blue" word in the title to emphasize that they make them as the Blue Box songs, and I find them so cute, hihi. And well, Eve is one of my favorite singers too, so I will love the song eventually, hihi. So, once again (I feel like I have said it, but don't really remember when), it is up to you. Give it a try if you like!!
Btw, sorry for the late reply.
It is okay. My Hero Academia is also something I dropped before but picked back up years later. Chainsaw Man is definitely something I felt like I would not enjoyed at first and ignored when it aired, but I decided to give it a try again this year. Some people in the book community said something like a book would find you at the right time. Maybe that's also true for anime, hehe. Sorry if it sounds silly.
About rewatching, I also love and enjoy rewatching anime or other TV series, and I know you know that too, like you are the first person ever to comment on how I am rewatching too much, haha. I recently rewatched The Apothecary Diaries before the second season comes out next month. That makes me love the characters even more, especially Maomao, the female lead character. She has so much charm I didn't notice at first from her dry, dark humor, her nerd moments, to her interaction with Jinshi, the male lead. I love almost everything about her after I rewatched it. Maybe that is the beauty of rewatching something, like you would notice the details you missed at first, or you just find it more charming than before.
About The Danger in My Heart, I have heard of that title before, I guess. If you suggest it to me, maybe I will give it a try then. But I apologize first, don't expect too much from me because I have so many anime on my want-to-watch list, and definitely I will watch them first because it is somehow better for my work time and my schedule to watch something ongoing, like I find it hard to find a lot of time to watch unless it is holiday time. I will send you a message when I watch it.
This year I mostly watched ongoing anime, like Yubisaki to Renren, Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc, My Hero Academia S7, Dan Da Dan, and more. Currently I am watching Blue Box and Rurouni Kenshin. I enjoyed all the anime I picked so far, some make me want to read the manga as well, and maybe I would do that if I did not have novels I want to read at the same time, hehe. But I watched some that were finished as well, like Chainsaw Man, and now I can't wait to see the prequel movie and more and more after watching the latest trailer. Oh, this year I found Kimi ni Todoke and watched it in between my watching My Hero Academia, thanks to my friend who recommended it to me. And now, what about yours?
Yeah, it has been a while since we last talked. I remember that our last talk was about Josee. It is so lovely of you to send me a message. Thank you ^^
I finished one of your recommendations, Josee. Finally!! Do you remember? It took me two sittings to finish the film.
At first, I was hesitant because, even though I liked the art style, there was a camera movement that bothered me. But I have no regrets after I finished it.
The story is light and cute. I like how the main characters are able to give strength to each other. I love how they fall in love the more time they spend together. However, to be honest, I didn't like the later love triangle story; I am not a fan of that kind of love story, and the formula had been used too many times. But overall, I like it!
Oh, one more thing, I'm still wondering: why did Josee come to the zoo instead of going to the hospital like she promised? I can't find the answer even after taking some time to think about it. Haha. Maybe I will find the answer if I take more time. Haha.
Once again, thanks for recommending the movie. Without you, I wouldn't have known there was such a movie. Thank you so much. I had a good time watching it, really. ^^
Oh, I see you also have Badges. If you don't mind, what is that? I think, this is the very first time I heard about that.
I don't think you will realize that my number of rewatched will be more than the number of anime I've watched. Sometimes I don't know and I don't have any ide about what to watch in my free time which actually isn't that much, I am so glad just to being able to watch one ep. Because of that, it makes me just want to re-watch any anime like you know I can watch without needing to be so, so focused because I already know what would happened. And thank you for your words. I think you are right to say that I need to be ready first to get out my bubble. I will, for sure. The only problem, I don't know. Then, it made me think, I think that my habit of re-watching is out of a sense of, not just familiarity like I know the story, but also comfort. I think to watch something new I have to get used to it first to be comfortable. Maybe the feeling of comfort is real the problem. I'm sorry I made this seem so deep when it wasn't, haha, I don't know.
Oh, and about Demon Slayer, really it was the World Record of being one of the best anime even for awhile? Wow!! That is amazing. I should watch it from the start. Bad I just I watched it this year )):
Why we use Iqiyi or any other apps here like Disney+ or Bstation, in my country Netflix is the most expensive one!! You can get Disney+ for a year, but only 4 months for the cheapest subscription type of Netflix!! I always have Disney+. But Netflix, only sometimes, lol.
Now, let met check your profile!! ^^
Agree. All eps feel quite consistent at this point, there are no scenes that don't amaze me, us. Each battle is quite successful in bringing something that feels new even though it's not a big thing in my opinion. Because I tried to watch as much ep as I can, ep 19 doesn't bring much feeling of amazement, like "Woahhh!!", still I really, really love it when Nezuko finds her art demon and in the later episodes when Giyu shows us the eleventh form of water breathing.
We might have same sister, but not about Netflix, hihi ^^ She barely using her Netlix. She love more other streaming apps like Iqiyi or Viu or Disney+ to watch Korean dramas or animes. She was also the one who told me to use Iqiyi to watch Attack on Titan because he uses the same app, haha.
Woah, in a few days you have already given me some recommendations. I will consider Oshi no Ko as well. Thank you, thank you so much ^^ But don't expect me to watch them any time soon as I tend to watch whatever that suddenly comes to my mind to watch and if I have day off. I'll apologize for that first, please, I am sorry )):
Yesss, that is the best thing we could do! Don't look for anything related to the anime we are currently enjoying if you want to avoid spoilers!! Don't search it!! I hope we can always avoid spoilers that will only break our hearts and change our moods ^^
I checked ep 19 this afternoon. I also like the animation on that scene. But, because I just watched Demon Slayer now, I don't know if the ep was so hype wow... Hmm, btw, did you watch Demon Slayer on going since the first season? I guees you did, because you know abou KnY19, wow ><
Your Name? No wayyyy!! I did the same too!! I suggested my sister Your Name, then The Garden of Words, then Weathering With You. But... until today she only watched Your Name )): Well, I can't push it too hard. Compared to anime, she prefers watching Korean dramas, haha.
It is so cute, you two watch two animes together. Oshi no Ko? What is the anime about? Is it exciting? I think I heard about its name before, I forgot where I heard it. Oh, did Yoasobi sing the ost? If they did, I think I know from there.
Hahaha... I prefer to experience the animation first too, same here again >< I did that with mostly anime I watched like Attack on Titan or Akagami no Shirayukihime, but once I got a spoiler, I will and read the manga, I can't allow myself to be get spoilers more than once!! It makes me sad )):
Oh, I think I will give a try to Josee to Tora first, then the others. Thank you ^^ And thank you too for not spoiling too much because... I hate spoiler. I hate it because I will lose interest if I know the spoiler, like what is the point of watching if I already know the ending?! Thank You. i really appreciate it ><
Yes, ufotable really did amazing!! I even thought about watching their other anime. Wait, what was on ep 19? Better I check it again!!
And, waaahhh, do you have a sister? Because you mention sister, I miss my sister too (we live in different cities now). She also watches anime, though not as often as I do. She was the one who introduced me to Attack on Titan, i introduced her to Makoto Shinkai's movies. We are different, so we rarely watch together. Glad to know now your sister into anime. You can ask her to watch more anime together!! That would be fun ^^
I see... So, your friends will know the story first before you guys watch it together, huh? Haha, cutee ^^
Agree, yup, romance is the best genre ever!! No matter what the anime genres are, I always hope they have a bit spark of romance there and hoping it is good enough, hihi ^^ Oh, I would love to get some recommendation if you don't mind because my friends who enjoy anime don't really into romance. But, I don't know if I will watch it anytime soon or not )):
Yes, I have a few days off so I am using it to binge Demon Slayer after a friend ask me to watch it after a few times before. I didn't expect much, but the animation turned out to be very good, I like the art style, it is pretty, the story is also interesting, the characters are no less interesting for us to follow on their journey and rooting for them, I really like it and have no regrets following my friend on this one, hehe. Just finished the Entertainment District and the fight... Right, it was awesome!! I held my breath for a couple of times and I was on the edge of my seat in the second half of the season!! It was crazy!!
I'm not the type to get annoyed easily by a character, but if in a few eps they keep pissing me off... that's another story. So, I need to meet them a few eps first to see if they piss me off or not.
Seems you watch animes quite often with your friends, huh? it's so much fun isn't it? ^^
