It's always a great pleasure to be of help to someone, especially if that person can acknowledge the help and is of use to him. I must thank you for benevolence and modesty. Around a year back, I was also seeking help from people and tried to get their opinion on my GFX works. Let me tell you, at that point of time, I was not even half as good as you are now. All the constructive feedback that I received helped me to develop my own style of designing.
You have great potential in GFX Design, so you should never give up the passion and always try to improve yourself on every opportunity possible.
Keep discovering and experimenting! That's the best way to learn.

I am really sorry for the extremely late reply. I just got a bit busy with my academic engagements. But I must say that you have done an amazing job on the overhaul of your friend's profile layout. You can see it for yourself how well the subtle changes that you made in design has enhanced the visual appeal, especially the text and images which are complementing each other very well. Evidently, changing the fonts and the style of the text placeholders worked perfectly. Brilliantly done!

If you want to look for some appropriate resources on DeviantArt to start working on newer types of layout, you should try to get the following:
1) Texture and Light Packs
2) PNG and Render Packs
3) Design Vectors/Ribbons etc.
4) PSD Coloring
5) Photoshop Brushes of different kinds
