Hi there, Thanks for your insight.

Firstly, reviews are given based on the person's own opinion, preference or standards. While a review can be criticised, there can never be a right or wrong review as different people have different expectations. and people usually read a few reviews to get a better understanding too, therefore there is no need to try to correct my review here.

I had a few comments saying it's wrong to expect some sort of character development in the very first episode. While of course character developments usually progresses throughout the series, there are animes that usually have some sort of introduction or back story of the characters in the very first episode. Very good examples that i can give are Dr Stone and Kimetsu no Yaiba, where the very first episodes one can already understand the characters quite well. I just don't see that in this anime.

For the artwork and low budget part, i am sorry to say i don't take into account the anime industry problems regarding this matter. It's common knowledge that the anime industry is in pretty bad shape with animators being paid dirt for their artwork, also the struggles of small studios etc. But that is not an excuse for producing low quality animes. If they want to succeed they really need to perform. This anime it seems to me was produced almost halfheartedly, i just don't feel the soul, passion and professionalism. It's like they produced this anime for the sake of producing an anime. Hope you get what i mean.

And even if the artwork is not good, at least they could made it up with good story line.

Comparing the manga and anime, i wasn't expecting a 100% adaptation, just that they left out the bits and pieces which i feel might make the first episode better.

So there you have it. And anyway there is no point in arguing this matter since i already dropped this series.

Well that's what i would like to happen lol but yea, like you said nobody really does talk about it. I wish they would though its so creative and fun to watch for me at least and yea keijo is trash i dont know why its that popular anyways. But i haven't even checked out sangatsu no lion, ill probably watch it sometime this week.
