is a little bit hard to believe for me too that there's only heaven and hell, because it means only if you're an incredible-almost-no-sins person you go to heaven, but if you are just a normal person you go to hell suffer for the rest of your immortal life, that's how I was taught =/
I don't believe in reincarnation, but I wish it was truth, so I could do everything different in a new life *u* studied more, loved more... damn! I'm talking like an old man on his final moments XD
