I'm assuming the new season is censored? If so, I'll wait until the BD release to get all that good "plot" the way it's meant to be seen.

I see you didn't heed my warnings about Sayuri lol that short is so... disturbing. I have lots on my list for next season so probably not. And i know of persona 5 but have no interest in it.

Glad you checked the review out :) I watched the first ep of that show and dropped it, didn't care for the tone or characters.

1) She was pleasant enough but should have been a part of her own show and not used in Bahamut. People may not have liked her for the fact that with her brings the change in the show's mindset: testosterone-driven to pheromone-driven. The result of bringing in a scriptwriter who's only done live-action soap opera dramas with 0 experience in anime.

But removed from those circumstances, her as a character is nice.

2) I didn't like either of the new OPs. The season 1 OP is just next level.

Do yourself a huge favor, never graft your wants onto a film, or any piece of art by extension. Always approach it empty, stripped away of extra baggage and let the work consume you. Only after then should you conclude your feelings. Remember the art exists without your input, you're visiting its world, not the other way around.

It's better than the original. The original is artistic vandalism, as performed by everyone involved trying to retroactively change the entire thing. The act of not believing in your artistic vision. 2049 has a backbone. My thoughts are pretty much aligned with the RLM crew, in this vid, Jay specifically:

Nice! Totally agree about the tonal shifts and general disappointment of the show. The art style was still one of my favorites from that season but it's not enough to make up for everything else
