It was a cool story, cool character design, but bad character development and the story from mid-way through had some pretty weird developments as well. Is it good? Sure, it's entertaining, but I feel like it could be a whole lot better if the author knew what the hell to focus on.
Just read your Shoujo of the Wilds review (Girls of the Wilds) and I agree with you...I'm still kind of absorbing all the story yet, and I have a lot of mixed feeling especially because I read 260 chapters in less than a day, so I did one hell of a marathon here, even got a headache and took a pill just to continue reading, kind of crazy right!?
At the start, I really thought they were going to make a Manga about Martial Arts with the scenario of the only guy in a HighSchool of insanely strong girls, and when they presented that he was a bullied kid, I instantly thought that some girls would feel angry or bad for him and teach him how to defend himself, and in a way that happened, but for that to take like 50 chapters to happens was so stupid, and we didn't even know if that guy really poisoned the kid's food or not, because that could have been even a case of murder, food poisoning is no joke, especially with the kids going to sleep so they spent a whole night with that.
The whole progress, and shifts the story does, which starts focusing on a Martial Arts Manga, then goes to a Slice of Life Story, and ends with a weak romance, it was really annoying and I would even say it was bad. Not to mention it was all really random, while I do feel glad that everyone ended the story happy it was so much random that it didn't even felt any satisfying, and actually felt like it was rushed because of the lack of imagination to end it, and the ending itself of she asking for him to damn wait, while she just kicks a random thief and it ends. Didn't they wait long enough already? I felt like punching the author.
The whole Dal Dal ordeal, where she gots kidnapped was a waste of a good potential ending because I would say that a more in-depth arc of some guys kidnapping Queen in a laziness moment of her bodyguards, and Jeagu having to act fast to follow them without being able to let anyone know what was happening, and going throw a really messy situation to save her, while realizing to himself that he trully loves her, and would die if something ever happened to her, would be more of an epic ending considering the genre of Manga that this one is. Or even a more cliche ending like her Grandfather not approving of their relationship considering it's just a phase, while Jeagu having to prove to himself and to her Grandfather that he really loves her and would do anything for her, would also be a better ending.
Well, I just went through the reviews and wanted to express myself...Sorry to bother you with it.
