Hello. I think you asked me on this a recent livestream. I don't have any real desire to talk about PKMN. However, I did spent a good few months looking into a few series and movies. I even saw some in Japanese. I also played Pokemon XD Gale Of Darkness and entirely finished it. The Orre Colosseum was one of the most difficult challenges I ever had but I managed to defeat all of the trainers. I did feel tempted to speak of PKMN Origins as faithful videogame adaptation but not sure how or when due to the heavy copyright of the PKMN anime material. The team that I used in Gale Of Darkness mainly consisted of Espeon, Gardevoir, Ampharos, Sharpedo, Hariyama and Ninetails. Although, in the tougher fights I had to swap some out with the occasional add-ons being Houndoom, Zapdos, Salamence, and Starmie.
I'm currently backlogged with a bunch of videos I want to do. I haven't been able to do requests in years. I have seen some of the Street Fighter animated stuff mostly films and ovas. I only saw about 3 or 4 eps of the 2V anime. Stuff such as this & Fatal Fury & other animated game material is something I do want to explore but currently busy.
To be honest the last I saw/read Parasyte was back when it premiered so my memory is a little hazy. I remember seeing a review calling it the tree hugger version of Devilman which I think referred to the ending. While Parasytes are still roaming around and we never know where they exactly came from I guess it's meant to be ambiguous open ending. The messages said that anyone or anything could be good or evil such as the humans who sided with crime and the paraystes that learned to be more friendly and loving. Coexistence is probably the best way to put it when it comes to the parasyte. I felt it did enough for that type of story that wanted to get its message across. Similar to Devilman that manga focused on anti-war and was done in 5 vols.
Yeah I was thinking about exploring Viewtiful Joe & couple of other things like Garo the Animation, Ultraman 2011 Manga, Voltron & Ultimo Manga. Just to see if they fit with the superhero vids. I guess I can look around game related things as well like Comix Zone.
I guess. I think the anime best moments were EPs 1-63 after that point where filler material starts showing up frequently that's when the series drops in quality and solely becomes a battle story with an arc that keeps on going. Music is great, a couple fights are good but don't expect it to be as "deep" as the first Hollow arc. Not sure about the manga as I never finished it but I do know not many people like its final arc or its ending.
