Anyway, most of my MAL "friends" profiles are dead ( kinda depressing, but then again, so was my profile ), and i decided to write to some people that stood out in my comments, so... congrats? :D
Tomorrow i'm starting Mushishi, this one has potential i believe. Now that i'm older it seems more like the kind of anime up my alley.
Btw, whats up with ur anime and manga stats?! MAL Bugged out or smth??
1997 isn't so bad... I remember once seeing someone from 1970.
What's up?
Gotcha. Meanwhile, things have def been shaking up for me now. Graduated, started anitube, moved house, reconnected with a now close friend, got myriad health scares and headaches, a few other things, it's been an eventful 16 months, for better and worse.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
It makes sense that you felt worse, long-term quarantine(s) are something that makes people inactive, fruitless and unproductive. I myself am still going through that kinda situation atm, in spite of the quarantine not being a thing anymore, because it has long-lasting effects that can only be dealt with with trial and error. Hope that you are better now and you can do what you want to do both internally and externally.
I myself moved somewhere else for university, for sure it was hard at first but then it got better. Unfortunately, as I said, covid changed a lot of things, and I had to move back. It all needs a lot of effort in order to get back on track.
I don't watch any seasonals anymore. I handpick some series from several seasons and binge 'em later on when I got the time and liking. It makes sense that you are not interested in similar stuff or are accustomed in certain cliches that you don't want in the series you watch.
I am looking forward to Kobayashi-san's sequel and Fumetsu no Anata e. Found Violet Evergarden to be good, even though I don't think it's anything that amazing. It does a good job at addressing several themes but its episodic nature makes the feelings it wants to evoke a bit fabricated, and it's like I have seen this done a thousand times over. Dropped Horimiya because it felt uneven and badly paced. Liked the last season of Dr. Stone less as well. Jujutsu Kaisen was pretty good, I enjoyed its audiovisuals a lot.
It's perfectly okay, I'm struggling with my english at times myself.
