It seems that it has not been released on DVD, or if it has, its sales were exclusively limited. If I have actually seen it, I would have watched it at a cinema in Japan.
I actually made a huge mistake because i didnt watch it, i put that on my list instead of the Aoi Bungaku series, dont know how that happened..so ty 4 helping me notice that and sorry for not being able to help u :)
Can you read Japanese? Because it will be difficult for you to understand EP7 only with pictures... 2015 is my guess. It might be in summer, who knows!
I actually have no idea. it's been a while since I've read it, so I don't know how many chapters there are now.
most people (including me) read the manga after they've finished the vn.
I personally read the Chinese translations and random raws people post on forums. DO NOT search for the manga version before completing the VN, or else you might accidentally get spoiled.
In general, people who read the manga adaptation also finished the visual novel before.
EP7 is still ongoing in Japan, in fact. We are at chapter 45 (in raw scans though). In August? Are you talking about the English translations? I'm currently reading in Japanese so I don't know what you are talking about.
Anyway EP7 (manga) will be finished in 2015, you have my words :)
That's a good idea. Finish the VN first, then read the manga. The VN's OST is god tier. There's also full voice acting if you use the PS3 patch. EP7's manga is nearly finished publishing in Japan. I think it's going to take ages for it to be translated in English (Or you could purchase the hard copy if you can read Japanese). I'd say read the VN in the meantime.
The PS3 one is exactly the same as the original visual novel but with better graphics. No, you're not supposed to read EP8 before completing EP7. However they decided to publish both EP7 and EP8's manga at the same time. I'm not sure why, maybe to boost Umineko's popularity? The EP8 manga is a bit different from the VN, it gives additional info about the culprit, which allows readers who skipped EP7 to still understand the story. For better enjoyment I would advise one to finish EP7 before reading EP8. Since I've completed the VN, to me reading EP7 and EP8's manga at the same time isn't a problem.
EP7's manga is still ongoing, volume 8 is being released recently. Volume 9 will be the final volume.
Let's see.. I would say that EP7 (the manga version) will be achieved in 2015. It will end soon: the tea party has begun at the end of volume 7. So... I guess it'll last another 2 or 3 volumes? (By the way Rokkenjima Prime is portrayed... really violently)
As for EP8... I wonder when? Because I don't know how they plan to reveal the "epilogue"... And if it will be the same as in the VN
