There are two kinds of enjoyment: the short-lived, immediate kind, and the kind that you remember long after it's over and done. Consider on one hand going drinking at a bar with friends and on the other hand going to the U.S. embassy in Madrid and hearing the ambassador give a long-winded speech about nothing while eating disgusting super fancy hors d'ouevre and seeing his authentic eighteenth century George Washington paintings. One was a fun night, and one was boring as hell but then again you got to go in that giant ass palace filled with cool shit.
Still, both of these types of enjoyment have value. They each have a different kind of value, and it is sometimes difficult to compare the two.
