I started watching anime online when my friend suggested I watch Naruto (back in the day when it was still airing). It made me realize that my favorite childhood TV shows (Pokemon, Digimon and Cardcaptor) were also anime, even though I had no idea. Then I went on to watch a bunch of other series online, starting with Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass and Death Note (which are still among my favorites). The first romance/comedies I watched were Fruit Basket, Ouran Highschool Host Club and Gakuen Alice. I'm still really fond of those! Some of my all time favorites are Shinsekai Yori, Mawaru Penguindrum, Ano Hana, Psycho-Pass and Fate/Zero. Shinsekai Yori, in particular, really blew my mind, I thought it was beautiful and well scripted. I'm always looking for more suggestions like that.
I like to discuss anime and I'm always looking forward to watching new interesting series. I'd be happy to hear any suggestion you might have for me :)

So time travel aside, in my opinion the show was about a group of friends who got involved in something they shouldn't have and how they together tried to solve the problems and change everything back to normal. Time travel was just something that acted like a catalyst and then supported the show from shadows. In the end the characters were just kids playing around with their new exciting invention.
Anyway, I guess there is many ways to understand an anime show.. these are just my thoughts :) I liked your review though, gave it a plus :)
I am glad to hear a guy who has the balls to state his opinion which is different than mine without getting all buthurt and insulting. You like what you like period. That I can respect.
