The Japanese are not known for having good endings in war, samurai. It's always been suicide or some other bs. There are few anime with a "good ending" and even the ones with a so called good ending like FMAB they simply do not compare to many Western and Indian fictional endings. They play it way too safe nothing exciting no plot twists they're all scared.

Thank you for that. Yeah, I feel with time, Demon Slayer has aged quite poorly for me. I want to love it, but at the moment, I just can't. In Season 1 I felt things felt more meaningful and creative, while it just feels they're going through the motions in this current season. I don't really feel anything towards the series at the moment, but I hope it gets better with the final few arcs remaining.
