So I dropped Ao Haru Ride a while back because I was so behind on my airing anime and didn't have enough time to watch all of them. The other day, I was listening to that awesome OP song and decided that I should just go ahead and finish the last 6 episodes. I just got done marathoning the the 2nd half, and it was great! I believe most of my unenjoyment of the series was because I didn't like Kou's personality in the beginning, but after learning about his past and learning about why he became so cold, I feel like he's a lot more understandable and relatable. I'm really glad I gave the series another chance :) Now I want a S2! Hahaha
yeh yeh ive only seen season 1of higurashi though and ve see another i loved it <3 AND THE OVA WAS AMAZING i was SO FRICKING HAPPY cuz i didnt at all understand the ending
yeh the ending ws rlly good to bad for the cliffhanger ending though but then again the extra ova helped by explaining a bit more about the ending. and i like a lot of different series hahah xD i rlly enjoy fantasy horrors i guess <3
It doesn't look bad. At the very least, it'll be informative on the anime industry.
Bakuman was really informative on the manga industry plus it was an amazing anime if you ever want to check it out :)
I saw the character designs that were released for the last movie. They all look older :O It makes me want to catch up to the series, but I have so little time >< I think I stopped watching a bit after Madara came back alive. I'm guessing I'm pretty behind at this point haha.
Oh yeah, and there's actually another original P.A. Works anime, called Shirobako, that will be airing this fall.
Here's the synopsis:
Five girls chase their dreams. The story revolves around the everyday troubles and hardships that occur when working in the anime industry, and the results and conflicts that happen day-to-day among the group of girls.
I think it sounds pretty interesting. I'm curious to know more about the anime industry in Japan. I'll definitely be checking it out. Won't have my expectations as high as I did with Glasslip, but hopefully it'll be good :)
Glasslip has been going downhill for me, especially after watching episode 6 ><
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, on the other hand, is hilarious. Definitely the funniest show of the season :) I think the comedy gets really good after episode 3. It puts me in a better mood after each episode :D
Haha, it's just that I thought I would really like it since it's a romance, but I can definitely tell that the romance part is aimed more towards girls. I think it feels like a K-drama, and I never really could get into those =P
The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.
