What I Consider When Scoring
Scoring Disclaimers: Scores are subject to change as I watch more shows to cross compare. If a show does one of the aspects named above fantastically, it will account for a loss in another category. Things scoring high in my list are usually shows excelling in at least 2 of these categories. Take my reviews with a grain of salt, because I'm probably biased, and I like to score optimistically. I'm very partial towards fantasy in general, and a fantasy that ticks all these boxes is going to score high, but I'm also a big fan of sports animes like Hajime No Ippo, Initial D, Slam Dunk, MegaloBox, etc. I write all my brief "reviews", more like notes, in the tags on my list, and I make use of ; to denote commas to prevent separation (If I use it at all). If I think a show deserves a rank in between a whole number (i.e. 8.5/10) I'll include that in the tags as well! If I wrote a proper review for a show or manga, it means I either loved it or hated it!  |
