Did you really just give 86 a ton of shit for "trope comedy gags" but you have FMAB at a 10/10?

FMAB is one of the worst offenders when it comes to having terrible comedy. Its filled to the brim with stupid jokes only a kid could laugh at. It has all these weird shonen tropes that if you were an outsider who has never watched anime before, you'd be thinking "what the hell is up with this gay muscle cartoon guy?"

You probably watched FMAB when you were like 14 years old and thought "this is an amazing show" and never looked at it again. Perhaps you rewatched it with rose-tinted glasses, and excused its poor story and comedy despite these issues being right in front of you.

Sorry if I sound super negative. I'm just against FMAB. If you still choose to like FMAB, thats fine. I just dont think the 10/10 score is even remotely justified, especially when you yourself said you have issues with these same flaws.

Listen, I am too monke brain with technology to even consider such things with bots.
I looked through pages of reviews, skimmed through dozens of reviews, looked through many lists to see that you are watching a sufficient amount of seasonal shows. That is usually over 5 shows as that is the lowest watching level of our Power Rankings feature. Then finally look at your favorites to make sure there isn't any Hitlers in your favorites because some weirdos like to put Hitler on their favorites. So no, I do go through the grind to find proper candidates to approach to joining the club. I approached you because I do feel that our club can increase your enjoyment and engagement to your seasonal experience.

There was a club that was created that geared more towards reviews so we discontinued the event but that club sadly died out. So we are considering bringing back the Review Event for the Winter 2022 season but that also requires there to be reviewers that want to participate. So it might be worthwhile to consider joining our club. Personally I do want to give reviews more importance on MAL even if its only in the small way that we can provide.
