2. If your opponent is of choleric temper, irritate him.
3. Man always thinks about the past before he dies, as if he were frantically searching for proof that he truly lived.
4. Death is terrible for anyone. Young or old, good or evil, it’s all the same. Death is impartial. There is no especially terrible death. That’s why death is so fearsome. Your deeds, your age, your personality, your wealth, your beauty: they are all meaningless in the face of death.
5. We all make choices, but in the end, our choices make us.
6. The Everett–Wheeler–Graham or multiple world theory is correct. All possible quantum states, events, possibilities, and outcomes are real, eventual, and occurring. The chances of everything happening someplace at some time in the superverse are 100%.
I’m a Sophomore at Rutland High School. My mom graduated Val Victorian of her grade and has a bachelors degree in Buisness management. As of 2018 she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma it is a form of breast cancer. She works in the management department for house keeping at a nearby hotel with a pay of $25/hr. She grew up in Yekaterinburg, Russia during the time of the Soviets and came to the US and lived in Stratton, Vermont at the age of seventeen. There she met my Father, a middle school drop and ex-convict sentenced for arson, theft, motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen items, assault and battery, reckless driving, possession of controlled substances, and distribution of illegal substances who ran away from home at the age of fifteen. Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico he spent the rest of his teenage years in Kansas City, Kansas where he lived on the streets. He was always told he’d be nothing and would do nothing, but had a huge life change once he came to Vermont, and started a company with sixteen employees which works for the state in order at remove lead from homes all over the state. Which pays $40/hr. Before this my parents married with only $10 in their pockets with nothing but a empty apartment and bread. Just goes to show you that even if you have a bad start doesn’t mean you are unable to accomplish anything. My first anime was Naruto My hundredth was Grisaia no Kajitsu My two hundredth anime was Youjo Senki
What Anime means to me
I started watching anime at the age of five but never got into it till the age of twelve. Anime as a medium carried me through my middle school years. I was always a loner, so it was a form of escapism for me alongside video games, manga, and comic books. Anime isn’t set in reality so it can be set anywhere, anytime, and is capable of doing anything. It’s beauty doesn’t only rely on its mere aesthetics, but rather the concepts it depicts and the feelings it transposes. And I think that’s why I like it cause it’s boundless possibilities are a delightful thought and incite a thirst or interest for what is to come.
My favorite genres and concepts in anime
I have always had three genres which pique my interest compared to all other genres. Magic, Mecha, and Military or my holy trinity, though you can argue that I have to have a fourth given magic and mechs are usually thrown together with the fantasy genre. Non the less mechs have always been something that I have found to be cool; the different and whimsical designs, the weapons, and the supremecy over tanks, aircraft, and people all of it. Magic mainly it’s the fundamental law bending usage and practical altercations have always made a show much more intellectually and visually pleasing for me. The over use of buffs, boosts, and enchamentments that stand over one another. The ways that magic is creatively and strategically used really make me redefine the word magic as simply something used other than for fighting, but rather something that simplifies problems. Military for the battles of wits and strategy. The maneuvering of troops, the setting of traps and ambushes, usage of landscape, military advantages and disadvantages. When all of these genres are in anime and are done correctly I find it to be irresistible. Some concepts that I find to be good watches are those where the main character becomes a monster, is a terrorists who fights for the ideological beliefs, or shows that depict main characters who subtlety, understandably, and reasonably become over powered but nothing over the top.
My one-ten rating scale
10/10: An all-time favorite that I frequently revisit and enjoy in the years to come. Most likely appeals to me on a conceptual level or strikes gold in the genre it’s designated in. It also on multiple occasions keeps me wanting more or has me springing to the edge of my chair. Visually stunning and uses camera or perspectives to advance the plot or subtly change he mood. Always the reason I continue to watch anime and would absolutely recommend giving a view even if it’s not up your alley. Shows like these are gleaming and brimming with a cultivation of ripened ideas which had come to fruition just perfectly and truly beckons it for popularity due to how intellectually delightful it is.
9/10: Favorites of mine but lacked a viscosity of moments which I enjoyed or had parts which weren’t very appealing to me and possibly had scenes which lacked excitement, tension, and action or had committed to much to to it. Could have also had some pacing issues here and there but made up for it in sheer entertainment or merely how interesting a concept it was.
8/10: Very decent anime in which I could comeback to possibly given that I had enough time. Shows that could certainly be masterpieces for others though it had not entertained me enough for me to rate it higher. Usually has some qualities that allow it to be a fun watch but had some rough patches where it made it displeasing to watch at times.
7/10: Great anime which I like but had one to many problems either from the get go or towards the end. Usually missing some aspects in which I like but not enough to warrant a worse score. Has a lot of enjoyable and fun to watch characters. Anime that are very good slice of life are put in here though the ones that are brilliant go in eight or nine.
6/10: Anime which are a little bit harder to understand than your starting lineup but give you a good idea that certain concepts can be taken to a new limelight. Anime in here usually take good concepts and make them better though it hadn’t done it to a crazy transcendent level as to push it for a higher score.
5/10: Shows that I would recommend for those starting anime. Easy to understand plot lines which flow nicely episode to episode. Likable characters that everyone can find either funny are relate to. Usually had visually appealing graphics and scenes.
4/10: A show which at the very least I can say I had watched. Contained not a whole lot more than an average anime. Was boring to watch for the most part though it had one or two interesting characters or ideas which caught my attention. The protagonist had achievable ambitions but was not ridiculously OP. The world rules weren’t broken on any occasion and had a followable storyline or arcs.
3/10: Unbelievably boring and predictable. Poor graphics, untangeable storyline or arcs. The world of setting has many flaws littering it leaving many questions as to why they do things in certain, what else they do, etc. The cast lacks fundamental character development but is seemingly better than the average anime personas.
2/10: A show that makes no advances in its genre or is simply a copy and paste storyline usually consisting of OP MC’s pulling OP Insta-Perma-Unavoidable Attacks out of their ass in order to advance the plot. Even the run of the mill characters fail to capture the essence of the norms and tropes in which it tries to befit. The world works way more than to much in the favor of the cast making it seem like more than just maxed out, buff, boosted, and enhanced luck. Not to mention the OVER the TOP harems with overused character tropes and cliches that all other anime use.The cliches are so overused that you can no longer tell if they’re even making a joke anymore. Shows like this are usually aimed towards certain groups of viewers though lack any ability to increase its ratings or viewership.
1/10: This category contains anime in which fail to even speak to the most niche cliques in the anime community. Not only are the cast so neglected when it comes to character development they break the rules set within their OWN world and setting. The logic behind their ideologies is flawed beyond what is accepted and believed. The concept of the show makes no sense to me at all and was beyond poorly executed. The storyline and arcs are non-existent and usually are jerry-rigged ideas fit together in hopes of making something tangeable but rather come out as a un-comprehensible pile of shit. Well done you played yourself into your own trap card. Now pull a team rocket and shout at the top of your lungs “gotta blast.”
My Movie scale
Note: All films are rated lower on the rating scale due to how I start films at a maximum rating of five.
5/5: Actively entertaining had kept me interested throughout the showing. Used time appropriately and paced its self. Original and keen on perspective. Fun Character study.
4/5: Very decent. Was engaged to watch for the majority of the time expect for parts that would drag on allowing me enough time to make a cup of tea and comeback.
3/5: Ok film that was neither good or bad. I could say I watched it.
2/5: Many Pacing issues, was un-original, usually made to increase gross profits of a already well established series.
1/5: A film which I fell asleep while watching. Was incredibly dense and boring and lacked any visuals to keep me awake. Usually had to rewatch in order to complete.
