I've been an anime fan for over 10 years now. Technically my first anime was Speed Racer, though at the time I was only 5 years old and thought all cartoons came from the same place. I first stumbled upon Fist of the North Star: The Movie on tv when I was 10 years old, then bought Akira on vhs. It's been my obsession ever since. I own a small collection of over 400 anime dvds and over 150 manga. I started watching fansubs 2 years ago. I am a big fan of not only moe and ecchi/fanservice shows, but also old-school anime from the 80s and 90s. I don't dislike any genre, i'm willing to watch any anime, even hentai. I'm also a big fan of JRPGs, American comic books from the 90s, old horror films, and post-punk music.

Yeah, I understand what you meant, my bad! And Mitsudomoe is only 8 episodes...
I thought Level E reminded me of Occult Accademy too, glad to see I wasn't the only one! I agree with the OP too, though for EDs I lke Madoka's!
Beelzebub's not my favorite show this season but I'm liking it too, though as expected I'll pass on Hilda, but I prefer her to Satellizer other than the hair!
I think for Freezing I prefer Rana and that lolish girl with drill-hair! Ikkitousen wasn't that violent (I think) but I see the comparation! The main won't stop appearing (Sadly), but hopefully he'll evolve a little!
Iroha is my favorite by far (So devoted, so flat, twintails!), but I like Mayukos' pantyhose! I don't think I've mentioned it until now, but I absolutely LOVE pantyhose, it's my top fetish as far clothes go! I would love if Mayuka made me worship her pantyhose-clad feet! And yeah, Nao's last. A first for a little sister, I'd say.
I like the oddness, makes it all the more interesting to watch! Rio is nice and Mint's very cute (She's voiced by Ayana Taketatsu, Kirino and Azu-nyan!), but don¡t forget about the bunnygirl twins! Il (green hair) is a cute emotionless girl afterall! I love Anya too, never thought about comparing her to Meyrin but it fits, twintails, short-ish, cute and big butt, only Meyrin wasn't that clumsy!
Depends on the kind of robot anime, real robot series (Like Gundam) are more serious and super robot (Like Gurren Lagann) are more heroic, but there are exceptions (Full Metal Panic is real, evangelion is super), your description would fit a super more! And I love too how Madoka is so serious and dark despite appearances, though I think it only caught me offguard on Ep 6 when Madoka threw Sayaka's soul away, even I didn't expect that!
Yeah, that looks different from his usual style, it's too... normal! You know, now I think about it I don't know many directors besides Shinbo...
Level E, Mitsudomoe and Beelzebub aren't good enough? For me I only wish there was a fanservice show better suited for my tastes, Freezing is probably good for you but it's way too breast-focused for me, needs more buttshots! Rio is too "light" on fanservice and Oniichanetc keeps on blocking all the sexy asses (And even feet!), so the only show actually decent for me is Index! Not a big deal, but still, after To LOVE-ru and Yosuga no Sora...!
Well, there are other great shows, Kore wa Zombie desu ka (for example) gets better each episode! But I agree, Madoka is unarguably the best! Something on the manner of Gurren Lagann would be nice, a hot-blooded show to wash up the depression of Madoka! (Not that I mind it being depressing, remember, Kanon is my favorite anime!)
Wow, even the art style looks SHAFT-ish!
So what's your opinion with the current season? It's looking good so far, the only flaw being no dommy girls (Besides Mitsuba, but she never does much of that anyway)!
It's not really anything like Madoka, people are just saying that because of hair colors! Magical girls having a wide variety of hair colors isn't anything new, Tokyo Mew Mew, Pretty Cure 5 or even Sailor Moon, of course, do it too! I'd say if anything it looks more like K-On, which isn't a bad thing!
Glad you liked them all! Chika is cute but I liked the other girls better, but they're all cute! Nobue isn't exactly cute but she's awesome too, female loli lovers are rare but always welcome! You should watch Houkago no Pleiades, it's a short but cute magical girl anime, perfect to cheer up after Madoka! Though I must be the only one who finds it serious but not THAT bad, magical girl series or not!
How were Godannar, Princess Tutu and Ichigo Mashimaro? I like Ana the best, then Matsuri, but they're all really cute!
Wait and see, though you might know for the time you reply! True that, Heroic Age had plenty of nice ass-shots too, in fact I heard of it for that reason! Sadly I didn't like it much otherwise, unlike SEED/Linebarrels/Fafne!
Yes, Rika-style! That would be the best! I liked Yurika too!
No problem, I can wait until you're less busy! Besides, I change them every other day! And that's true, this season has quite a variety in genres! Lots of emotionless/kuudere girls too, I've counted 8 so far! And yes, pretty much all shows are good, even Rio isn't bad, merely decent. Needs better fanservice tho! Also, who you like more from Oniichan-etc, Nao or Iroha? Both are quite perverted but Iroha is even more so, very interesting IMO!
No problem!
I've started watching Chocotto Sister, love Choco, she might make my Top 100! The main character is an idiot for not embracing her, I would love it if she was my little sister so she'd cook for me in naked apron!
Ai Enma is one of my favorites too, suits her voice perfectly! Kotmi from Clannad is good too, she's the one who made me love her voice! Sadly this season has almost nothing for Yukari Tamura and Kana Hanazawa!
Fractale is my favorite out those, but all 3 are good! I'm already doing a favorites list, though of course it'll change a lot during the month!
It measures the time it takes to see the anime you've watched put together, basically. So if you were to watch everything you've seen so far with no breaks, it'd take 200 days. That's why the pages for animes list how long takes each episode. I don't get where the time for mangas comes from though, since they don't seem to list pages per chapter or anything like that!
And congrats on over 200 days!
If you ever feel like watching another robot series, you might like Fafner in the Azure, it's often compared to Evangelion, though it focuses more on the drama, plenty of sad scenes! There's also a girl voiced by Satomi Arai (Kuroko), but her personality isn't your thing, I believe! Almost no fanservice, though!
I love it both ways, it's my favorite hairstyle afterall! But I think I prefer straight down if I have to choose, it looks more elegant, I'd say! Not the lack of it makes Kuroneko or Tsukasa any less cute, of course!
At least they were original and did it from Kurumi's PoV, so it wasn't too bad, but I was hoping more Sawako moeness! same for Mitsudomoe, I wanted more of Hitoha but at least it was funny in a silly way!
I love both of them too, my favorite show for now! I like this voice of hers too, Victorique is another of my early favorites! Kore wa Zombie desu ka has another emotionless girl you might like, so look forward to that!
BELLYBUTTON! I mean, I like Merry too! The violence surprised me too, but not looking bad otherwise, it helps the main girl is voiced by Mamiko Noto, who last season only had small roles!
Agreed on Beelzebub! IS I hope the whole "girls are dominant in this society" means some awesome femdom, but I fear it'll be just there for flavor and to justify the harem! Houki is not my thing, reminds me of Sohara from Sora no Otoshimono, who I didn't particularly like either! Onii-chan's art is a bit weird, but otherwise it's fun, wish the sister was more straightforward and less tsundere, more Sora and less Kirino! Rio was alright for me since it had some nice buttshots, but I agree otherwise wasn't outstanding, we'll see though!
After Shiki and Kuragehime I quite like noitaminA too, so I'm looking forward to them too!
