Help! I can't write a gripping opening that would make anyone ever want to read this recommendation!! So I'll just start it here. If you liked Sora no Otoshimono, chances are, you'll like Date a Live. Or... if you liked Date a Live, chances are, you'll like Sora no Otoshimono. OR if you like cute mecha parody anime with a sort of harem amongst one guy, many mecha girls, comedy, and action, you'll probably like either one of these. The two anime relate in the fact that they have a guy who is surrounded by a bunch of mecha/different girlies. In Sora no Otoshimono, the main character happens to 'pick up' a girl who stays by his side as he is her 'master'. In Date a Live, the main character has to save the world by sealing away girl's powers by making them fall in love with him. BORING. Right? Nu uh, no way Jose, noppers! Both of these anime will keep you drawn in with a mixture of comical moments and some action packed fights... and some incredibly cute girls. Sora no Otoshimono was more lighthearted and easier to follow compared to Date a Live, as it doesn't have many arcs or twists. Date a Live, on the other hand, gets pretty into it to the fact that you wouldn't think it's a comedy to begin with. However, both anime basically have the same mood and will draw you in if you have enjoyed either one of these series.
