I haven't watched until the end. I'm still onto season 2. Sorry but my IQ is very low. It's only 81 & it's been years since I saw the original series, so I admit I'm stupid & thick but could you please just let me know how it starts out the same, yet is still a continuation? Are the earlier episodes just recapping what happened in the older series? Or will this get explained at the end of season 2?

I dont hate either Sotsu or Gou. I just dont feel like its proper WTC.
Gou started off as very promising, but in my opinion it didnt make as much use of its idea as it could have. Even the most interesting part Akasaka and Akane's L5 attacks are skipped over.

Sotsu.. well... Its dissapointing. Its cool that you like it. But to me who's experienced every bit of WTC that exists ( VN, Manga, And console arcs), its severly lacking.

I havent added most of the stuff Ive read / watched. Ive got to sit down and do it someday.

Its a.shame that the Gosick LN only has 2 vols translated out of 11.

Also check it out Kamisama no Memochou. Its like Gosick. But in modern day tokyo.

Anybody who's faved Gosick is a instant star in my book.
