Yeah... so, I wanted to let you know that my last replay in Messages may have been a bit rushed.

So this is my take:

The last one (4.0) was touching, though.

I think Anno wanted to send the message that life if more about fighting for your own happiness and sharing the joy of life with those who are special for you, and preferably with everyone. I would prefer EoE over 4.0 anytime, but 4.0 has a much positive ending tone, while EoE's ending, inspiring as it is, still it's an invitation to go forward after accepting who you are and understand what you need.

I would say that the original Eva and EoE are about coming to terms with who you truly are, what is the dynamic of the world you inhabit and how can these aspects both coexist. In the end, 4.0 gave me a vibe of: this is how things can look like when everything comes into place. EoE never did that.

Perhaps EoE is much more realistic and rough, but life is also eudaimonic and 4.0 highlights that at it's end.

B) Discord

Yeah. Both the episodes were great. However I can also see how some people might not like them. Thanks for that.
