Misato is the prettiest, gorgeous, beautiful, handsome, attractive, pleasing, lovely, charming, good-looking, magnificent, elegant, stunning, girl in anime ever💘 EoE and Manga Misato are the best representation of her. Misato is so horribly written in the in the rebuilds that literally is very but VERY disrespectful for character as a woman.
So forget about the rebuilds they mostly suck. WAY more easier to understand and a good/happy ending, perfect formula for mainstream anime fans. That's why some ppl like them more.
I hate time Skips and love triangles🙄 Both don’t make sense.
My fav anime(DBZ) is there by default😂 like a 0 of my anime favs.
Fun Fact: My profile picture is an actual anime portrait of how I look!
I want to visit Japan some day!🥡🥢⛩ and prolly live there💞
Some of my after thoughts/some anime takes:
If I had the money I'll would buy the TRON franchise from Disney and turn it into a masterpiece of a anime or LN probably more. Of course I would have its adaption.
I would also love to have a talk with Anno-san about Misato to see if my analysis of her is accurate. (Not the one in the on the top😂 a more serious one) and also Mitsubichi-san and Sadamoto-san!
Black Lagoon has the best English dubbed ever made in anime. Change my mind.
AOT ending is pure garbage🚮
90% of the characters are overrated... and at the end everyone is excluding⬇️
Erwin which is the best character of the series🫡 and Sasha❤️
They both share 1 specific characteristic... coincidence? Don't think so.
Never understood what's the obsession with Levi. POV: It's like you watched an anime for the first time and your fav character is the strongest one. 0 Objectivity, literally no reason other that "he's cool" or "strong".
I kinda liked Historia, thought her story and potencial was going to be very interesting to see until Isayama also f up writing her.
Stop watching amine on Netflix plzzz! Specially Evangelion, god... that more "accurate" translation is not a fix is a nerf to the series.
Edgerunners is ridiculous overrated. After the 3rd episode the anime lost its purpose and direction. Felt like going thought "Akame ga kill" the anime all over again... Just to give you a heads up on how bad it is. I don't understand how ppl can go out there asking for a 2nd season🙄🤦♂️
I seriously want to drop Rent a girl friend but im already so deep in the manga that is not worth to drop it after all that "reading".
I love the control devil⛓️
Naofumi🛡️ is best Isekai MC Ever.
Kuran, Kaname is the best representation of a vampire in anime.

Ohh, I hope that the university stuff works out. With the new Corona variant things are starting to get out of hand again :(. I have an exam in February but I don't know whether it will be virtual or not, supposedly I have to go to but who knows.
In my trip I finished the first book of Mistborn by Brandon Anderson, and it was good, the power system is really ingenious. As for anime I started Akatsuki no Yona, I read online that the manga is really well made.
I haven't watched Kakegurui yet. A friend told me like a year ago to watch it but in the end that moment never came haha.
Yes, I haven't watched a lot of anime from the 00s but the ones that I enjoyed the most are KyoAni's and Madhouse's works. I think that I've watched a lot more from 2010-2020, also most of my favs are from that period hehe
Yes, I wish to see more Alice animated ahaha
I watched the original Eva a long time ago and I know I must rewatch it sometime. I rewatched Violet Evergarden to understand the movie more and I'm glad I did, because I forgot so many things and as it was one of my first anime I didn't have much "experience" you could say. Also Eva is not an easy-to-understand anime like Bnha for example, so for starters it can be a bit tough.
Misato is a hell of a character, gotta be one of my favs besides Asuka. I also believed that Shinji would end with either Asuka or Rei.
I haven't thought of Mari like that, maybe because as she's new to the series in this one I kind of ignored her, or to be more precise, paid less attention than the others, so for me the shinji/mari ship was kinda strange, but at the same time it seemed to me more logical at that moment than being with asuka, because she was angry at him for basically destroying everything, I don't know ahaha
Yes I agree with you, friends with benefits convinces me more than a couple hehe
Yeah, it happened to me with Noragami. Finished S2 and I wanted more so I had to go straight to the manga.
Talking about long anime, after watching two or three short anime the last month, I started LotGH some days ago, it's really interesting despite being old, don't know if you watched it.
Nono, it's not a love triangle. I also believed that before watching it. It starts slow but it gets better as you keep watching, but you have to like the genre because 70~ episodes can be tiring if you don't.
Yes, because he made that bold statement of "I'm a beater", now that you mention it it's true: supposely he was hated but he made a party right away ahaha.
I'm not up-to-date with the Progressive LN (I read til volume 3) but I do know that volume 8 was released not so long ago (in June I believe). The translation is up to volume 7 (or it's finishing with vol 7). I want continue reading but not only I'm a slow reader but also I wanted to read other stuff so I have it abandoned rn ahaha.
For the main story, Alicization ended in volume 20 and now we are in volume 26, so there is some content of the new arc (Unitial Ring). I haven't read anything to avoid getting spoiled so I don't know what's about but for the book covers it looks really cool!
I enjoyed the movie, but it needed a little more to be "perfect" in my opinion. Rei died really quickly and with no reason. I liked the role of Misato as a strong leader, don't remember so much about the original series to compare here. My favorite character is Asuka by far, I love her as a character and I enjoyed the moments when she fights. The end reminded me of TTGL and I found it kind of strange. I don't know what I was expecting but not that fight of Shinji vs his dad, would have liked more dialogue rather than that. In short, I really enjoyed it but I think it could go a bit further in some aspects, and that couple at the end was out of nowhere ahaha. I haven't read the manga either, but I want to since I think it is from another author.
Ohh yeah, I'm kinda lazy regarding long anime, because you have to be really commited to it. I'm currently watching (slowly) Fruits Basket since the remake has finished and for now it's good and also relaxing. It has around 60-70 chapters so it's not thaaat short ahaha
Being alone is kind of dangerous imo, the author has to handle the story well so that you don't get overwhelmed by monologue or get bored because you don't like the character for example, but if it's well done, it's freaking awesome hehe. You reminded me of the manhwa "Solo leveling" although it's not related ahaha. In that manhwa the term leveling is like to level up like in a videogame (to get better stats) instead of physically going up. However, in that story, it is as what you said: the MC might talk with some people from time to time but generally he fights alone and it's amazing ahaha
I agree, Asuna is incredible in the movie. Kind of hyped about what's coming next. I saw some covers of the LN and got me excited ahaha
Talk about timing, I just saw yesterday 3.0+1.0, it was a wonderful movie. The animation was superb (at least the 2D haha, but the CGI wasn't bad either). I've also watched the series but it was some years ago. Watching the movies made me rewatch the original series sometime. Have you seen the movies?
I don't know if you already finished Vivy. In the case that you don't, you should. The protagonist is similar to Violet Evergarden (It seems I won't stop mentioning her ahaha) in their personalities, but here the setting is futuristic and sci-fi. I believe that I shouldn't tell you much because the anime is short and also you might enjoy it more in that way, because, it has some unexpected moments. Btw, the soundtrack is AMAZING, there are a lot of really mindblowing songs. In the case that you've finished it, have you enjoyed it?
Ohh, thanks for the summary. Yeah, it has to be something like what you've mentioned, otherwise it wouldn't have much sense ahaha.
I haven't thought that. It's true, if Eugeo had not been there, Kirito would have travelled alone, searching for Alice, and meeting some people in the way. Now that I think about it, Kirito is accompanied nearly every moment through all SAO. Travelling alone would have been interesting, and also nice to see a different version of him. I cannot deny that I would watch a version like this one if existed hehe. Also, Alice developing feelings for Kirito would be more logical, since there's no competence ahaha
Yeah, as the movie was set in the real world, the physical was super important, so Asuna had the advantage ahaha
One of the reasons why I felt refreshed with Alicization is that the classic characters were not there, specially Asuna, and at the same time Kirito not focusing too much on the outer world (when he got his memories back), leaving room for new characters to shine (like, obviously, our beloved Alice ahaha).
Remember when Alice and Asuna met for the first time, they were about to fight for Kirito ahahah
Yes, it's like you said. This season had one anime with a 40 minute starting episode, Vivy Fluorite's Song. I loved that anime, don't know if you've watched it. Then I found out that it was from the creator of Re:zero, which surprised me because I haven't enjoyed Re:zero that much, specially S2.
I meant in the S2 where is GGO, I think Suzuha didn't do anything in those 24 chapters (as far as I remember, which is not much ahaha).
In that part they went to help Kirito and Alice, and they chose the characters of the gods of the game because they had admin privileges or something like that, but I'm not sure. Talking about Sinon in Alicization, I didn't like that much when she faced that guy (don't remember his name) 1vs1, Sinon was really scared of him and she couldn't give her all in that moment, but I don't know if it was a trauma that I forgot about or it's just random.
I kind of get what you mean. I think that the appearance of a third character was to avoid the never ending arcs of Kirito being alone with a girl, and the author trying to improve with the secondary characters, because up until Alicization I felt that there are no good supporting characters (besides Suguha, I mean for example Yui, Rika, and some more). For me it was the first "good" male secondary in all Sao. I believe that because as he had screen time, I could sense a more real "bro" feeling between Kirito and him, a more genuine friendship, which I couldn't see with the other characters, and that's why I liked him. Maybe adding that he had a more protagonistic role with some fights that other supportings are lacking. I don't remember his last words at all, I need to check that ahaha.
I love that song, but I have to admit that I've never read the lyrics, I owe you that one ahaha. I should read more the lyrics of anime songs in general, they say more than you'd imagine.
I have my doubts about the romance part. For me Alice is superior to Asuna. However, I don't know if the decision of Alice developing feelings towards Kirito was good. I'm curious to see a version of Alice that is just the "childhood friend". If you ignore the previous seasons, I'd say: yes, I'd love to see romance. Asuna is not bad either, I liked her more in Sao Progressive though. In the original series, after the second episode she becomes too generic, like she doesn't have anything that represents her. We get to see some development but it's not that much. I'd stick with either Alice or Sinon as best girl, but for romance, maybe Alice.
Ahahaha, I had the exact opposite effect, as you can imagine. I said "wtf is this a Saber clone or what??". You can include Violet Evergarden too ahaha
And you’re welcome. It’s nice to meet you too :3.
I think there are very few animes that have long episodes. It's more common to have one chapter 40min and the rest with normal duration. I watched Kara no Kyoukai (that is from the Fate universe) that are like 8 or 9 movies, but the first ones were 1h long, so it were like super-long episodes. Those kind of stuff breaks my schedule ahaha, so now I'm kind of struggling with Katanagatari, although I have 4 chapters left.
Yes, I agree completely with you. Even the magazines where manga is published force authors to adapt or change some things (and not mentioning the time schedules). I believe the system has to change, specially focusing on better working conditions. I don't know if you saw the working conditions of Cloverworks when they made Wonder Egg Priority not so long ago, I was shocked. Or AoT Final Season, the producers wanted the anime to air at that moment at all costs, instead of waiting to release a better product.
You could say that, Fate is like one event contained in a bigger universe, but I suggest you to not think too hard about that yet ahaha, we all started without knowing anything.
Ohh yes, it's true that they haven't censored the wounds, it added a layer of realism, and the sense of a darker atmosphere. Also, she didn't do anything in S2 (if I remember correctly), so appearing again fighting alongside the main characters was nice. At least the tentacle user was a woman, but well, the scene was still disgusting ahaha.
Yes, I also loved Sinon when she was with the bow in Alicization, it was the goddess of the Sun or something like that right? I loved that costume.
The Excalibur arc is watchable, but imo it pales in comparison to any other arc in the series. Maybe if it had been an OVA it would be better, but who knows. And for me there is only one Excalibur in anime... just kidding ahaha but you might know what I mean
You didn't like Eugeo? Surprising. I found it ok as a character, obviously not the greatest character but still it was good for a secondary. I think that a third character was kind of needed, because if Kirito were alone with Alice inside the game for so long, it might have originated a romantic situation, and for Alice to know that she is in a game and he loved one "real" person at the same time would have been shocking. Or they could have been like "brothers" who fighted side-to-side. I don't know, just random thoughts ahaha
Exactly as you said. I also feel that I should answer with Sinon because Alice is similar to Saber, and then all my favourites would be the same type of character ahaha
Yes, that's a good technique. As I have to study I cannot binge-watch so I always do that unintentionally haha. Now I'm watching Katanagatari, where the chapters are 40 minutes long, so I watch only one at the end of the day.
That's true, both extremes are bad: if they explain absolutely everything, or if they don't tell you anything at all ahaha.
Well, in most adaptations from visual novels, we don't get to see every ending. They do the main ending and then they do some OVAs to cover more or less the other routes, like Clannad or Steins;Gate. Now that I wrote this, I'm kind of surprised that Fate had managed to get every ending adapted ahahah. Speaking of Fate, I believe that each route is one side of the same coin, they all complement each other and they expand the story in a different way.
That scene of Suguha man... I thought that the author had learned from Aincrad ahaha. I've never thought it in that way, that the reason why was to show her strength.
Yeah, I loved Sinon more than the rest of the season ahaha. I mean, her story was not-so-long but it was effective and straight to the point. The Mother's rosario arc was ok, but the Excalibur arc was like filler to me, I wanted more Sinon :(
What I meant to leave her aside was in a hypothetical spin-off, never from the main series ahaha.
My favourite arc is also Alicization, maybe not entirely because of Alice (although I gotta admit is an important reason haha), I also loved the Knight's system, and the power system, where the material of the sword is important. The author was more careful when doing the Alicization world. Also there were more chapters to get to know the characters, even the secondary ones are really cool (Bercouli hehe). Also we see the political state (I mean the war, etc). It was an upgrade in every aspect, while keeping the SAO style.
Favourite character... I'm between Alice or Sinon, hard to choose but what I'm sure is one of them
If you search for the watch order you will find a lot of different recommendations, I'll give you a quick glance of the main series:
Fate (2006) from Studio Deen, is the "Fate" route. Fate Unlimited Blade Works is the "UBW" route (it's the abbreviation), and the three Heaven's feel movies, are (obviously) the "Heaven's feel" route. Then there is Fate/zero that it's the prequel from all these three.
If you watch it in chronological order you should watch fate/zero first. The pro is that you start with one of the good adaptations of ufotable, but it could be a bit harder to understand how the holy war works (it's a bit harder but it's ok, not anything close with evangelion haha). Then you can watch the other three in any order, but I'd recommend Fate->UBW->HF
If you watch it in airing order, it's Fate->Fate/zero->UBW->HF. I watched it in this order. The pro (and the con) is that you watch the Deen's adaptation first, where they explain well the rules and stuff, having the good stuff later. The bad thing is that, if you dislike this adaptation, you might drop the series, but in this case you can jump straight to fate/zero.
Some people say to skip completely the Deen's adaptation. You can do so, but bear in mind that it has a different ending compared to UBW and the movies (UBW is not a remake of it and neither the movies, all of them have different endings as I mentioned).
Personally, I'd recommend the airing order and not skipping Deen's, but it's understandable to do so, in that case you should do zero->ubw->HF.
All of this is "canon", no spin-offs are mentioned. And one more thing: if you want to do other order, just know that it's strongly suggested to watch F/Z first before Heaven's feel movies. Hope that this helps and you can ask me if something is not clear!
That is true, SAO had some dark moments, which are darker in the novels (at least from what I've read in progressive).
Yeah, as Sinon is already relevant in GGO, you could leave her aside, and then the original group (kirito, asuna, etc) appears some time, maybe they could collaborate with some intel or something like that. Now that we are thinking of these ideas, I realised that SAO has more potential than I thought haha.
I wanted to ask, which is your favourite arc?
Well, my opinion might be some kind of biased, because it's my favourite anime, but I'll try to tell you haha. The series is about a war between seven magi (people that can use sorcery and that kind of stuff) to obtain what they call the Holy Grail, that is said to conceed one wish without limitations of any kind. These seven magi have to summon a Servant, which is the one who actually fights. These are people from history like Napoleon, Jeanne d' Arc, etc, and they have supernatural abilities.
In my opinion, just the concept is mind-blowing, because you have nearly unlimited variants (and that's why there are a lot of spin-offs). Moreover, the universe is not limited to Fate, there are other works from the same author that explain other interesting stuff, powers, creatures. If I have to compare it to something, it might be Harry potter, where you have a main story but you can spend hours investigating about the magic system, other organizations, and so on.
I have one advice if you are going to watch it: Fate is adapted from a Visual Novel, and it has three different endings. There is an adaptation for each one, and one prequel. If you want to know more about the watch order just ask me and I'll happily tell you! Or, if you prefer to read, you can go straight to the VN, but the ufotable adaptations are worth it.
Ohh, I'll try to rewatch it then!
In fact, the spin-off is made by another author, not Reki (he supervised it though). This is why it feels different and why I think it's refreshing.
Yes, it's like you said, they have a hard time that you cannot see entirely in the original. I agree with the idea of a group reaching the main group's level, that would be cool.
Your idea for a spin-off gave me the idea of one having Sinon as MC and she would interact with other (new) characters, but excluding our original couple and pals. This might be a balance between the original series and GGO alternative, I think ahaha. I thought that when I saw a fanart of Sinon with military uniform and I started to imagine some ideas ahaha
Edit: found the artwork of Sinon
I watched Overlord, but dropped it in S2 because a friend spoiled me the ending and I wasn't enjoying that season. If I remember correctly, the focus shifts into a tribe of crocodiles or something like that? I got bored at that moment, but I should rewatch it sometime from the beginning, because that was two years ago haha.
I'd recommend watching the ggo spin-off (if you liked the ggo arc) because it has other characters so you can see something without kirito, asuna and their pals. It's kind of refreshing, and they made the game more "realistic", meaning more survival-like. It's more or less a battle royale, not a masterpiece but enjoyable (plus the songs are really good). In fact, I watched the spin-off after finishing alicization, you don't have to care about the timeline either.
I agree with you there, if you want to dig up more information you can go to the source material. In fact I was about to start the original novels (but starting from alicization) but in the end I decided to read progressive because it was something "new" as opposed to Alicization that I have already watched the anime.
What do you mean by "haven't watched GGO"? Have you skipped season 2? Or do you mean the spin-off (the alternative one)? I found the ggo arc acceptable, but the other arcs were ridiculous ahaha.
Yeah, the next arc looks promising. In the end of the anime there was a futuristic scene if I'm not wrong, so I'm hyped as well!
Regarding progressive, it's strange that they decided to add this new character, because the novels are already there. As you said, it defeats the purpose. I've always wanted a longer version of the Aincrad arc: to give more time to character development, leveling up, and making the 2 years spent there more real. What I had in mind was like a longer adaptation, not saying as One Piece with 1000 episodes, but maybe 150? (Also, if it's SAO, a lot of chapters would still be entretaining). However, they are releasing movies. I don't know how it will turn out but I hope that at least something decent. Either way, I think that I'll continue with the books whenever I can.
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that this longer series never existed in the first place, because GGO and Alicization could have never existed as well, and that would be terrible hahaha. Also, these two could also have been really long, and I think that, at least in GGO, it's not necessary.
