10 - Absolute masterpiece. Stands out even amongst great anime. Incredibly rare, and so far only 8 different series out of over 300 have any of their seasons with this score. Examples: No Game No Life, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Parasyte -the maxim-

9 - Masterpiece. One of the greatest anime ever made. Would recommend to almost anyone. Roughly 10% of anime I've seen score this highly. Examples: Overlord, Tiger & Bunny, Steins;Gate

8 - Excellent anime. Would recommend to almost anyone. Normally there's about 1-3 anime each season that score this highly. Examples: Rainbow, Noragami, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

7 - Good anime. Offers something more than most. Would recommend to most people, especially if it's a genre they like. Examples: Made in Abyss, Delicious in Dungeon, My Dress-Up Darling

6 - Solid enjoyable anime, but nothing special. Would recommend to people who enjoy the genre. Examples: Call of the Night, Wistoria: Wand and Sword, The Quintessential Quintuplets

5 - An ok anime. Might recommend to people who enjoy the genre. Examples: Sankarea, Fairy Tail, K-On!

4 - The minimum that can be considered entertainment. Generally would not recommend. Examples: Guilty Crown, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Akame ga Kill!

3 - Not very good, but generally had enough positives to get me to finish it, unless it was long. Wouldn't recommend. Examples: The Case Study of Vanitas, Another, Rent-a-Girlfriend

2 - Simply bad. Normally dropped, and I would not recommend it under any circumstances. Quite rare, as I don't start anime I expect to be bad. Examples: Natsume's Book of Friends, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Monster Musume

1 - The worst of the worst. Even rarer than a 10 rating. Also includes anime that would receive a 2 or 3 based on their quality, but deeply offended me on a personal level. Examples: Blue Lock, Prison School, Maburaho
