The Tokyo Ghoul is very easy to read on Crunchyroll. It is a rather good manga, very deep and thought provoking. Germany is a nice place, you should visit one day!

I think they have already, I know that Netflix has multiple language options for it.
I think you should try finishing Death Note. It is worth it even if L was your favourite character. No spoilers, but you may be surprised by how it continues from that point.
