I second everything Yakub says besides his last line.
It's quite stupid to criticize an anime for not staying true to it's reality counterpart. I'm pretty sure Oda never implied or said outright that he was going to do a realistic pirate story(reading the first couple of chapters could have tipped you off to that). This is fiction. The same with using the fans in your rating, it's stupid.
And One Piece is pretty popular outside of Japan. While it's not as popular as Naruto or Bleach due to some reasons, it's still popular, at least enough not to warrant the "No one gives a shit about it" comment in your review.
I like your OnePiece review, but still is my favorite Anime yet by far. I rewatched OP (the whole 600 episodes) 3 times already. I cried like 10 times when I watched it for 1st time. For me, Oda is my god, OnePiece is my drug and still think of OP 24/7 everyday, even in my dreams.. I can't wait to see Sabo in the NewWorld, who is Kaido and his mysterious power, BigMom's power, who is the scientific Vegapunk, what's MonkeyD.Dragon's power, what is the will of D., who are the 2 new shichibukai, who are the 2 new admirals, what is the AncientWeapon Uranus, the truth of Void Century and world governement's secret, Doflamingo's past and fights, Blackbeard's future plans, Shanks meeting Luffy, what is One Piece, Mugiwara's new abilities and fights, etc
1. You don't know what the phrase "jumped the shark" means. And you overuse it.
2. You should proofread.
3. You shouldn't really take the show 100% seriously; it's a cartoon and, yes, it does have cartoonish art.
4. Naruto and Bleach try to be more heavy, but they just end up being corny. Being light isn't inherently bad either.
5. One Piece came before Pirates of the Caribbean and I don't see any similarity at all to Peter Pan.
6. Maybe it's true that nobody gives a shit about one piece outside of Japan, in a hyperbolic sense at least, but I don't think that's relevant to a review.
7. Inuyasha is completely different. The combat, the comedy, the everything.
8. One Piece itself is probably a macguffin. I don't think it really matters. Even then, if it is going to be an important plot point, then you can't expect to have it revealed just halfway through the series.
Nice review overall though. I really like One Piece, but you made some good points.

"Certified retard" I'm still laughing from that one
