Holy shit, your anime taste is godlike, pls move back to MAL. Btw I've never seen someone with the anime "Samurai Giants" in their favorites, I haven't even heard of it and I'm an absolute vintage-anime-guy. I guess the show isn't anything like Ashita no Joe, huh? It definitely looks interesting.

That said, I'm used to older works, filler and all. There's bound to be some quality in there worth experiencing. If not, it will at least enrich my memories of the show, for good or for worse.

We need to preserve the memory of these works of art, flaws and old. Not for our sake; but for the next generation.

Ok, so just finished AnJ2, loved it! While I do have some minor problems with the show, Joe has joined my all time fav characters( I think he's probably my current fav). Also dezaki's style probably tops even anno and kon for me after watching this, some of the shots , especially the sea ones and the midnight blues opening shot are unforgettable! Thanks for helping me with the filler eps.
