Back to some reviews, only for manga though, community is chill compared to the animes. Probably will write some quick ones rather than long rants, especially for short mangas.
Maybe I'll reupload the old reviews, I think I have them somewhere.
I made a new review about Sacchan, Boku wa. I think you should read it. Despite the low MAL score I think people didn't understood how good and why the manga is.
Imagine saying "back for reviews" and only writing two in 2 years huh ? Couldn't be me.

Fiction is not real
meaning all events in the show didn't happen, also meaning you don't need to " protect this fictional character"
The story that is being told isn't " a top ten way to pick up a minor" it's a romance story, and with how many romance anime there are, they need to spice up the genre with anime like "Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, Toradora!, Nana, Spice and Wolf and Maid Sama"
there all romance anime with their own twist on romance.
otherwise, they're all just going to be the same show, this is true for every other genre out there, if they're all the same then why bother watching any of them.
If that anime is just shit then yeah give it a low score, but giving it a low score because of the setting is the same as saying " I didn't like Naruto because there are ninjas in it" it doesn't make much sense.
I also noticed you dropped "Hige Wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou." could this also be because society would ever accept this, Another fictional story, put the Reddit white knight sword away
However, if you want a romance with no drama, tension or any plot points. then I suggest you watch my hero academia.
just because a show has aspects that reflect our " society" doesn't mean that it's 100% true,
Why? because it's fiction meaning this shit isn't real
and you believe that light-hearted teasing is disgusting and awful, but having your life on the line at all times and being killed if someone finds out your girlfriend is a mermaid is fine, an interesting view there.
Also, it's fiction meaning shit isn't real.
fiction
noun
noun: fiction; plural noun: fictions
literature in the form of prose, especially novels, that describes imaginary events and people.
I guess I am just more averse to sexualization of children in anime than you. I left the red flag for anyone who is disgusted by that sort of thing.
He doesn't lay a finger on her, he makes no threats or lewd suggestions. He even meets her Mom and she gives it the OK, as does his own sister.
He's a flawed person at the start, it's true: that's how characters progress! They start out flawed and overcome their problems. If he (or she!) started out perfect there'd be no story at all.
He starts out acting like a stereotypical idiot (no argument, he's acting like a "lovesick fool") and they both have a journey of understanding. The key is that both of them do, it's sweet! After the initial cringe. But again: without that flawed start, where would there be any story to tell?
17 is perfectly legal in most of the world. It's 16 here in Canada, it used to be 14. That's for any sex act between any gender combination you can name.
However? Ryou does not do a single inappropriate act in the entire show. He is a perfect gentleman, I'm glad it ended well for them.
