I have done a cleanup of my list. Everything I watched is still in it, however I have decided to delete all the scores. I have a few reasons for that:

- I often find it difficult to score a series in a way I really agree with. Many series I scored a 7, where not equaly good in my eyes for example. But scores like 7.8 and 7.2 where not possible. I got frustrated scoring series to high or to low for what I really wanted to score them.

- I notice as I grow older that my opinions on series change. What I scored an 8 before, would be a 6 now, and vice versa. With a list as big as mine and growing, it becomes a real pain to keep changing the scores. I could just stick to my first score, but that doesn't feel right to me. I like my list honest and up to date. So I rather have no score, then a false score.

- A good deal of the shows I watched, I also forgot big chunks off. Either because they simply where not memorable or because I had a very hectic stressfull period when I watched it. So I sometimes find myself wondering why I scored a show the way I did withoud really remembering. Thats frustrating.

- And finally, I find it more importand to remember which series I enjoyed most of all, not which series was best of all. No these 2 things are not the same. there where shows I could give a 9 easy, but did not enjoy as much as some series I would have given a 6 because they where objectively not so good. (Also nostalgia is a thing) So instead of focusing on rankings I decided to focus on faves. I have tagged my favorite anime with fave. I do not think all my faves are better in quality then all the not faves. I just enjoy those faves better for some reason. It's personal.

So on that end, all scores have been whiped clean. In the end scores don't matter anyway. Watch what you enjoy. Ignore what everybody else thinks of that. There is no right or wrong and other MAL users should stop judging people's opinions or just fellow mal users based on their anime lists. Thats just rude.

---Favorite anime/Japanese game characters (including nostalgia chars from childhood and teen years)--- (for some reason the images keep breaking. When I upload they are around for a bit, then dissapear again.. I have stopped trying to reupload because it's annoying. My favorites will remain a mystery I suppose beyond the 10 shown here. If Mal ever gets it's act together I'll try uploading a picture again)

- The red Turtle (movie) (studio Ghibli) score: 8 (Because MAL is absolutely being ridiculous a wonderfull anime movie called the red turtle is not in the database as its not japanese enough for them. (Even though Ghibli was involved) )

plan to watch anime Mal also didn't add despite it being part anime/japanese as well
