I've been well. Currently at university studying music education. Of course I'm on summer vacation right now (and I'm actually kinda missing school right now!) In terms of work, I've been through a couple jobs but am working at a tutoring center right now. It's a good environment, and I think I'll develop a lot in terms of interacting with and directing the kids.
Nah, I didn't wash my face either lmao
Sometimes, I was in the mood, I used to take a shower before going. Once a teacher (and many classmates) were worried bc I went to school with my hair wet in winter LMAO
The also asked me if me parents drive me to school or what and... they wanted to kill me when I said that I went to school walking JSDHFKJSDHFSKJ
Meh, now I brush it a little whenever I have to go out but the nickname started bc I NEVER brushed it to go to school. My routine was: wake up, check phone, get up, drink tea while I put the uniform and leave.
It actually started when I had a small conversation with a guy and we didn't exchange names. So, the next day, he was asking my classmates who was the "messy pelos girl".
It was funny so I keept the nickname xd
Pelos means Hair in spanish (A lot of people call me Pelos irl bc I never brush my hair and it's always messy so that's my main characteristic lmao)
and puta means whore
I just found that name funny lmao
I played Ruby first too when I tried these 3. That's true, I even slowed down my emulator to get past that Rayquaza tower 😁
(thanks to a YT video) I don't know how people could get past that the legit way on a GBA.
I managed to catch an Entei in FR before but couldn't get Raikou yet in LG. Since I'm not gonna play those games a third time I'm missing out on Suicune but I can still trade myself one.
I haven't even played Blue version yet, maybe I should play it to warm up for playing G/S/C and even trade my team over later.
I always felt disappointed there was nothing left to do post-game in R/B/Y which I re-played a lot, would've loved to go to the next region through those games.
There are some fan-made ones doing that with newer graphics but not with the original/older version.
Gen 3 graphics is the best for me, gen 4 is good too but the main character always walks so slow for some reason. There's another emulator MelonDS where you can get legit event Pokémon with their wifi and probably even trade with it but this app is too laggy for me to use compared to Drastic.
What else are you up to lately?
I've been trying to make Spotify playlists recently even though I had an account for a few years already, but most of my stuff is outdated or I don't really listen to half of it anymore 🤦♀️
I used to use Imeem & Purevolume a long time ago but those sites shut down eventually so I only relied on downloading music to my laptop/USB sticks.
I had an older 4shared account but it got deactivated due to inactivity too so box.net is my main site for uploading music now.
during our first conversation he explained to me about his fetish for boxing, it turns him on in a sexual way and is on more than 20 boxing fetish servers 🤔
he is an ass man too.
Lol "amateur move" reminds me of something you said to me back when I used "only" 20+ Ultra balls to catch Groudon last year??
It felt like a drag to train those mons so I guess I did "cheat" 😅
The list of trainers to battle on the Trainer's Eye isn't as convenient as the VS. Seeker in FR/LG so I traded them over to train there instead. Too bad we can't re-battle people in the Victory Road again.
I will try the Battle Frontier after I beat the E4 in Ruby/Sapphire too (those ones are a bit underleveled right now) I'd say Snorlax, Lapras and Fearow are my top useful Pokémon in FR/LG.
There was a forum where it had some cartridge distributions and legit event save files with legendary Pokémon in it, so I got a Mew/Jirachi and traded myself legendaries like these ones
Are you playing any video games nowadays?
What were your favourite Pokémon & games?
IPE's threads were always hilarious. He is obsessed with MBTI personalities and has a fetish for boxing, he never wrote on my wall until I sent him a FR but then he added me on Discord too after I put my info there and we ended up talking for a few hours sometimes (mostly him rambling).
It was funny we both wanted to add each other before but had a mutual feeling of wanting others to add us first. 3miL loved talking about Tokusatsu shows too on my wall ever since I asked for recommendations 😂
but it's cool that people are so passionate about things.
Coincidentally, I had a discussion recently with another friend from mydramalist.com (since I also watch Asian dramas) about Pokémon too. I messaged him a lot there since late Dec/early Jan this year but he wanted me to move over to Discord since it's more convenient for him and it's his favourite site (so it's the main reason why I even use it nowadays honestly), he doesn't watch anime but played some of the games and collected Yu-Gi-Oh! cards too. I only watched the English dubs of these up to Johto and the original cast of YGO. I remember you saying back then you liked Shaman King's English dubbed OP theme too which made me want to watch it along with Digimon Frontier's English OP. I ended up watching both last year, didn't bother with the remake though.
It was funny I only started talking to him and 3miL because of a certain situation that I kept reporting on MDL (which I wrote all about it on RicePounder's wall)
it felt like a big change for me since I didn't message that many people privately until now so if it wasn't for that, I might not be talking to these guys right now.
Anyways I actually beat the E4 on Emerald yesterday, it was easier than I thought it would be except for the last 2 sets of battles, I brought in my Rayquaza as backup 😅
My teams on FR/LG were stronger too so I could've traded them over to beat them (but haven't beaten the E4 there twice yet with stronger levels). I even used Masterball and Rare Candy GameShark codes too on FR/LG lol
Thanks for the info but I'm sticking with Myboy/Drastic/My Oldboy emulators for now. I'm mainly interested in playing GBA and DS games.
Same to you - long time no see, EpicSaxGuy 😏 that's funny I actually said this to RicePounder too recently because of another thread (Post a comment on the above user's profile) you remember him too?
It's funny I only added him, 3miL & IpreferEcchi this year even though I always saw them years ago from the FGs but I was always laughing at the latter 2 guys' sex jokes here.
A lot of familiar people stopped playing or changed their usernames now.
Someone even invited me to a Discord last year for MAL FG players but I'm more of a lurker there. Even a "deleted user" thought I left FGs 😂
I'm happy someone cares about me though (I did find out later from someone else this person still exists on the site with a new account but I remembered them as weeb-1234 back then)
Anyways I am actually playing Pokémon R/S/E right now on MyBoy! emulator. I was supposed to have finished it already last summer but lost motivation after Victory Road. Usually I find video games a bit boring near the end where there's little things left to do post-game.
I've only played Pokémon R/Y, R/S/E, FR/LG, D/P, Pinball & Ranger so I guess I can only pick gen 1-4 as my faves. I don't really like the 3D graphics of Pokémon games nowadays though, maybe I'm just old fashioned?
I downloaded Drastic emulator too last year and finally got to play Bleach: Dark Souls and Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 (I like playing those grid-style fighting games but I guess the better term for it is tactics games like FFTA2) I found it harder to get into FFTA on GBA though, they lack that closet feature which lets you try on the equipment in the store and it's not as convenient seeing the abilities learned compared to FFTA2.
Wish you get all the success this year. Hope that joy and success follow you in every sector of life. Happy New Year 2022!
May the new year bless you with health, wealth, and happiness.
