Why hello there! How did you stumble onto my profile, I wonder... Could it be any of my so patronizingly written reviews, hmh, maybe? Not self-deprecating humour by the way, y'know.
Note. My rating system is based... wholly on my personal enjoyment, understanding and interpretation. I don't focus on evaluating a series with strictest impartiality to define the quality of its writing, that's something anyone can do and isn't nearly as interesting as someone's unique outlook on a work of fiction, in my opinion. Although, most of my ratings tend to be at most +/- 2 points of what I'd give them if I was rating them in that way.
Series that I appreciate start from 6, although I might have some attachment to a few lower ones, but 7 and above are series that I wholeheartedly like or even adore.
Also, this is my playlist for many of the tracks/music I like:

TL;DR
This has nothing to do with Ikuhara's stories being too eccentric, Penguindrum is just bad. Anything else I have to say about that wouldn't be kind words since I hate that anime so I'll leave it at what I said here and in the review. That said, I know plenty love it, glad for you/them, so don't take this personally as this is just how I feel about it.
What do you mean about me being the type of person to whom the review is addressed?
It was violent and sometime hard to endure but also it was an addicting reading especially with the theme of bullying which was particularly strong and also following this poor girl in her rampage against her classmates.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciated it
