I haven't seen the anime yet but have watched THAT scene multiple times (teared up and more all of those times) so I think I can say it at least can be comparable to the VN, especially Refrain. I'm probably gonna watch it fairly soon though. If I get tired of VNning my life away.

I've been really enjoying it so far, although I've yet to finish it. Really looking forward to the next episodes, and especially the next seasons.

I barely notice even half of them tbh. People are ignoring these pretty harshly huh, well that's a given. It's kind of sad these isekai shows may actually be so bad they cannot be the least bit entertaining, leaving them to rot forever. though if we're getting isekai every season that must be because it sells. I guess the world is not so sad after all.

Yes! It's awesome so far hahaha. Takagi-san is a bit too tame compared to Nagatoro, both in romantic progress and teasing. I definitely prefer Nagatoro over it as well.

It goes to show people can get taken away by overwork. I hope other mangaka learn from this too. And the Japanese business industry as a whole.

Hope we get a second season of NGNL sometime... About Komi-san, I thought it was cool for the first few chapters but then it just started getting kinda messy? Lost interest in it. What about you?

Oh, damn. That's something else, alright. Poor production by Doga Kobo is kinda eh... they always had pretty great animation. Guess not much budget went into this one. Fast-food huh. Nice analogy.

Nagatoro's adaptation so far is really darn good! I love it. For some reason the opening shots of the first episode gave the feeling of a romance tearjerker movie, I was like "wait, isn't this a teasing manga?!" the whole time.
Higehiro, well, it could be a bit better. There was this one scene where Sayu spilled her heart out to Yoshida and they decided to focus on her tits and ass. Come on. So far I think everything it's doing could be handled a lot better, but it does have some really good scenes like the one in episode 6 stargazing scene.
What about you? How's Nagatoro and Higehiro going so far?

Hmm, I'm actually not sure. I liked Irene as a character. Changing her into a guy was imo unnecessary. We already have so many characters, but in S2, those numbers increased even more. The problem with it is that the current emphasis is put solely on them, making Moriarty feel like a 3rd plan character and Sherlock like an obligatory punching bag. It doesn't change my enjoyment, because the plot is interesting and all, but it's a slightly different experience.
Oh yeah, I liked Zombieland S1. Good to hear that S2 continues the same trend.
That's a weird approach tbh. I guess they wanted to finish S1 with some kind of hook (Iruma's 2nd personality) and then just go with the normal flow.

When you use those kind of websites on your mobile, it can be even worse. I don't remember if it was Mangadex or some other similar app, I got some straight ass porn site ads between manga pages and that was so annoying... That's why I usually try to download most of the longer/finished series.

I don't remember exactly what I didn't like about the OG, but it was a combination of many factors. I didn't like the characters, the plot felt boring and the whole romance wasn't involving at all. Mainly that.

Well... When you know that people love Astolfo and the whole trap trope, then you won't be surprised by any degeneracy.

Let me put it like this. I gave School Days VN a 5/10, the same goes for the anime. I gave Totono a 9.5/10, so I think there are some differences.
To be honest, there are some shocking and disturbing events in Totono, that's for sure, but they're no some bullshit that School Days pulls almost all the time. So no, there are no heads in bags, haha.

I am up to date with Moriarty for now, so we can talk about more details for now.
Yeah, the whole Jack the Ripper thing and the action scenes with the coin shooting were a little too much imo. I think someone forgot why people really want to watch this series. On the other hand, I like the general direction of the series, but I'm worried we won't have enough time in this season to get to some sort of conclusion.

I was mostly refering to 86 and that Fumetsu no Anata e, which is in top 50 right now, wow.

I think I used Mangadex only once in the recent months, for one particular series. When I read a finished series, I usually try to download it from some torrents (like Basara, Kokou no Hito and now 7 Seeds). In other cases... Google > X title read online > click > ??? > profit.
Actually, I was 90% sure that the bad end could be avoided in that VN (because there were like 7 bad endings), but even the true/good ending was... Sad and miserable. Even though it was very short, it moved me quite a lot.
You know what's stupid? If you go on the steam page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1396150/Sutekina_kanojo_no_tsukurikata/), you can see mostly negative reviews. I found this game because of a YT review, and it gave it an 8/10. So I wonder "Wtf is going on?". I check the user reviews and I'm shocked... Everyone thought that if it's a lesbian romance, it's going to be all SoL and cozy, but someone didn't realise that drama and some psycho stuff is also a thing. Oh yeah, other type of negative reviews were about... 'presence of men'. Because apparently having a male even mentioned in yuri games is a cardinal sin... So there you go.
Well, that 'another person' was one of the reasons why I started this game, so it's no a coincidence at all. Muv-Luv Alternative is the highest ranked VN on VNDB. The problem is that first you need to finish Extra and Unlimited. Extra is the most typical galge you'll ever see, so many people don't want to go through that.
I decided to try it, because the last VN I put on hold (Subarashiki Hibi) was so disappointing, I needed to do reset my mind with something more chill, so there you go.

Everyone seems to like that 86. I wonder if it's going to have some sort of a conclusion before the 2nd season.

Interesting way of 'milking' a character. If one Rin possesion wasn't enough, there's also the blonde version, Ereshkigal. It's funny when a character from mythology/religion gets adapted into some game that gets popular, because if you want to search it on google, then you won't get the historical figure, but the game character, haha. Just like with Azur Lane and the ships.

Ah yeah I see what you mean. Kinda got the same feeling actually. Guess this is where we're headed now with movie sequels. Yeah, Rengoku didn't get as much screentime as he could've. I think Tanjiro's dream sequence was sadder though.

Oh nice hahaha. Although the season 3 CGI PTSD sounds painful.
Equivalent exchange, alright haha. But yeah we're getting so many sequels now, Machikado Mazoku, Princess Connect, Maid Dragon, etc. And so many stuff being adapted too. Even Komi-san is getting an adaptation.
Got really high hopes for Superstar!

Well... HxH was kind of... eh. It got more and more battle shounen as it went on and then Chimera Ant came with its awful pacing and intrusive narration. I was already kind of wavering in Greed Island so Chimera Ant just didn't really help at all. The fact I was worried about this very stuff too when I started it makes me feel like I just wasted my time. At least I enjoyed half of it.
On the other hand, really liked 86's start! Didn't think an idealist, innocent protagonist would work as a Major in wartime, and didn't think the voice fit her either, but thanks to the excellent worldbuilding (imo), it seems like she's never been in real battle, and seems like "no one" is which hints at a lot of stuff being wrong in the country, further hinted at by the nationalistic views shown at the start and the outright lies being told, perhaps even to those in the military itself. Also makes a nice parallel with Shinei. Very nice way to introduce both the world and characters, and the main contrast with Lena's "easy" life and Shinei's gritty reality. Will be looking forward to the rest.

Not a big fan but it's not like I dislike it either. I'd say 7 is a good score haha. I do think it was better than the previous arcs tho. Hope you watch it sometime, whenever you do tell me what you think of it.
