Anime History: I've been watching Anime since October of 2008. I never really liked Anime or looked much into it until I was at College. I was on my break and saw someone sitting next to me watching an Anime. I asked him what he was watching and he said it was an Anime called "Death Note". Being curious, I decided to check it out. Now, it might seem rather lame that my first Anime is one seen and adored by, dare I say, too many people... but I decided to expand onto other genres to see which one I would enjoy the most. It was a great series but really wanted to move away from the mainstream after I heard it was quite popular.

After Death Note, I went to youtube and saw something that was recommended for me. I didn't know what it was or how on earth it was in my recommendations since I never looked at any Anime on youtube. Long story short, it ended up being "Lucky Star". Feel in love with it and want more of this type of genre so I looked for the school comedy/romance type Animes.

If you look at my list, you'll notice a pattern with most of the Animes I've seen. They're mostly Comedy/Romance. While I'm addicting to this genre, it's not the only ones I watch. I'm opened to many genres despite my efforts to move away from this genre.

I'm ALWAYS looking for recommendations. It would be helpful if you could look at my list first though (:

Animes I'm trying to avoid... FOR NOW:

Bleach, Naruto, FMA, One Piece, etc. Pretty much anything "mainstream"

I just don't want to watch anything as popular at the moment. I'm not saying I'll never watch it. I'll eventually come back to them.

Mangas:

None-- I don't read them. No, I don't hate reading. I just enjoy watching them more, that's all. Please don't criticize.
