It's not that easy for me to write about it as well, but I believe that when you love something so much you end up putting a lot of effort into it and then, when you realize, you've wrote what said work means to you. You should try it sometime, it's really gratifying.
I haven't watched Dezaki's Remi yet, but I plan on doing so. The only work of his I watched was Takarajima, which was fun and with an impressive directing and art direction.
Glad to see you enjoyed LWII! As I said before, it's my favorite WMT with Anne. The cast of characters is big, but they're all likable and well-developed, they're so uplift it makes you really happy, the setting is so comfy it makes you want to live there and it approaches themes that are essential to your life, such as your dreams and aspirations, and in a very mature way, I should say. The word "mature" nowadays is often associated with blood, violence and sexuality, but for me a mature way of dealing with themes such as the ones I mentioned is to approach them in a way adults would deal with them in real life.
And what did you think of Perrine? While I have no major complaints about it, except for the weird character design, the fact that I watched it at the same time as Cardcaptor Sakura, which went on to become my second favorite anime ever, made me enjoy it less than I should.
I heard about Katri's popularity in Japan while searching some Japanese websites, but since I can't read the language, I couldn't go much further. Well, I hope I like it a lot. My problems with Pollyanna are: nearly every situation is overdramatized to the point it gets unbearable; the huge amount of flashbacks (30% of the series' whole duration is spent in flashbacks, if I were to guess); most episodes end with a cliffhanger, which doesn't really fits WMTs; the plot feels too much like a Mexican soap opera (these are quite popular here in Brazil), because it focus on broken relationships between adults which you can easily predict the outcome and it creates a lot mystery over some topic whose answer is quite obvious; and the soundtrack bothers me because most of it is upbeat when there's a lot of sad moments. I enjoyed some bits of it and Pollyanna herself is an amazing and really likable character, but my experience overall with this series was negative.
So far I'm enjoying Katri. I really like the setting and Katri herself, she's cute and dedicated. Can't say much about it, as not much has happened yet. I hope I like it a lot, because it would be such a let down if I didn't, since I paid for it to be subbed. Is Katri your least favorite WMT so far? It's the one with the lower score on your list. Mine's would be Pollyanna and Romeo, with Pollyanna being the weakest. There's so much stuff that bothers me in this one.
