i am not otaku. i know this may be hard to believe what with me being on here and all but, i am a cartoon connoisseur. i watch any and all cartoons and animated goodies! i think that 90s cartoons are some of the best out there! i love you anime but batman, xmen, ninja turtles and the tick (among many) could easily give anime a run for its money. then theres invader zim....
i do not limit myself to just the japanese comics. i love american comics as well! xmen: ahhh deadpool nightcrawler and gambit. batman: riddler joker and harley. then theres preacher, tick, ninja turtles, anything alan moore and johnen vasquez.
i have a severe reading addiction. working in a used bookstore does not help this addiction. nor has it done anything to discourage wasting my paychecks on more geekery.
video games. primarily RPGs. expically final fantasy.
RUBBER DUCKS! i have over 1200 rubber ducks. i need to do another official duck count. if you ever need a safe place to send your rubber ducks too please let me know =)
knitting. i am becoming quite the ninja knitter if i do say so myself
animating. hand drawn or stop motion animating that is. yes i said animating i actually have a bfa in 2d animation and plan on doing this for a living. and no anime is not the reason i went to school for it. i can actually thank mr disney for that as ive wanted to make cartoons ever since i was 4. snow white is the first cartoon i ever remeber seeing. it was all over from there. my fate was sealed.
hair dye, my hair changes color.... a lot.
as far as music is concerned i am particulary fond of: rockabilly, psychobilly, and while im at it all of the "-billy" subgenres, punk in particularly IRISH punk and golden oldies.
caffine is my dearest and closest friend.
i adore steampunk!
traveling. i love tourist traps! oh the stories i have from my road trips!

OH! Super 8 was the best movie I've seen in YEARS! I mean, years. Probably since I saw Gran Turino. Even then, that was slow, just good.
