How y'all doing?
I've been at least somewhat familiar with anime since I was a kid, but it wasn't until late 2014 to early 2015 that I really began to get into the medium as a whole. Since then, I've become a huge fan, and have been slowly working my way through the classics and trying to catch up with some more modern stuff.
I generally don't follow seasonal shows unless it's one that I'm particularly interested in since I'm already filled with older shows/films I want to watch. Otherwise, I just add it to my "Plan to Watch" list, which is a never-ending void of a backlog that I will likely not finish before my inevitable demise by the passage of time.
As for how I rate shows, it's all based on my personal enjoyment of it. I'm not going into a show or film looking for deep symbolism or an incredibly intricate story, I'm simply there to have a good time, and my rating displays that personal enjoyment, and if I find deeper meaning or a more emotional connection, all the better.

.: My Rating System :.
9-10 ~ Fantastic
- Exceeded my expectations, and were a joy to watch/read. The ones that managed to tug the strongest emotionally and resonate the most with me. Nothing is perfect, but they're close enough in my heart.
7-8 ~ Good
- A good time all around. They didn't blow me away but it was very much worth the time invested. A solid recommendation.
5-6 ~ Average
- Something in-between. It doesn't go above and beyond, but it also wasn't bad either. Enjoyable enough for a viewing, though it could have been more. A mixed bag.
3-4 ~ Poor
- Failed to engage me particularly. There's good here, but it's lost in an otherwise disappointing mess. Maybe it's a gem to someone else, but certainly not for me.
1-2 ~ Terrible
- A dumpster fire, where anything good about it drowned in how badly done everything else is. Not at all recommended, and likely should be avoided.
