Your question made me really curious XD Plus found this sentence - Kurosu Ouma was the father of the main protagonist, Shu Ouma and his older sister Mana Ouma.

Clannad is the best anime that was ever made, doubt there is someone who didn't feel anything after watching it. Inu x Boku SS and kaichou wa maid-sama, toradora a lil bit similar to clannad (but nothing can beat it XD). As for actions my favourit ones are - ao no exorcist, sengoku basara, shakugan no shana, toaru majutsu no index and railgan, fairy tail and naruto. Heard that Sword art online is also pretty good.
Just recently watched Mirai Nikki and guilty crown, recommended that to everyone who likes anime XD
For a good laugh - baka to test, kore wa zombie desu ka, gintama. Most of my chosen anime are comedy ^_^ if u know any good comedies recommend in comments (thanks in advance ^_^)

That's what all myanime list friends do XD Can recommend few anime, depends what anime genre u like ( but that will be my personal opinion) ^_^
