Hello from Mauritius,
Just started watching anime on 23rd December 2017. My first anime was SNK.
That's it.

Disclaimer: My ratings are heavily weighted on the enjoyment factor of the show and less on the plot.

10 - Masterpiece; The show exceeded both my and the show's expectations, and there are no discernible flaws. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A show that changed my way of thinking, made me learn something important, was extremely funny, or left a mark in my soul. The writing is near perfect, there were little to no plotholes, it was unique, and changes my life, even a little bit. These shows kept me thinking about them for weeks, months, even years, and resonated with me, whether if it was the plot, the characters I've thought of as real people, or such a life lesson I can’t look past. Those are the types of shows I will rewatch with hesitating a second.

9 - Excellent; The show has minor flaws but outperforms in almost every way. I highly recommend the show. I definitely still fully enjoyed the show but I might not have been 100% engaged all the way through. I would probably hesitate rewatching those types of shows.

8 - Great; Despite some noticeable flaws in the show, it was a pleasant and solid experience, with the pros outweighing the cons. I would recommend the show to anyone, but not watch it again since it was not particularly memorable.

7 - Good; The show is ok, but not great, with some lapses here and there. It is far from perfect, but it served its purpose. There are definitely flaws in shows in this category, but they were still enjoyable. Some parts might have been generic or frustrating to watch, but good parts still generally outweigh the bad. Not much rewatch value in this category or lower.

6 - Decent; Likely generic or a guilty pleasure potentially. Not inherently bad, but there are many flaws in the story or characters that should be talked about. I would not recommend anything that is in this category or lower, and that I haven't much enjoyed but forced myself to watch/to finish.

5 - Below Average; Either the show failed to live up to both my and the show's expectations, or I failed to understand what the show was attempting to convey, or both.

4 - Bad; It was a mistake to watch the show. I was bored the entire time as I waited for the show to recover, but it was unable to redeem itself in the end.
