I rate based only on enjoyment.
Nevertheless, my opinions are never wrong so you can assume my ratings objective.
5.5-6.5 is what I rate as average. Dropped doesn't necessarily mean I didn't like something.

also i saw your message about love my life in the discord and it was so difficult to just Ignore You because i LOVE love my life and all of ebine yamaji’s works. and i was so excited you enjoyed it bc i cannot for the life of me get anyone in yuri fan communities into her works
here are the recs that got deleted + a few i just thought of !
* QQ Sweeper and Queen’s Quality (warning: may be considered dark fantasy but it’s very uplifting. supernatural/fantasy, comedy is great it reminds me of gintama sometimes, & has many gnc characters and a great side cast)
* Banana Bread Pudding (unique art, queer themes, comedy, SOL, from the ‘70s and set in that time period. it’s easier to appreciate more fully if you’ve read shonen ai from the ‘70s, though, since you could read this as commentary on its brand of escapism. so prereq for this: in the sunroom and/or the heart of thomas )
* Tamon’s B-Side (romcom, gag comedy)
* Haritoge Clemmie to Ou no Ie (unique art/paneling, fantasy, SOL, has “not set in modern day” vibes)
* Our Not-So-Lonely Planet Travel Guide (unique art, queer themes, BL, SOL, romance)
* Pietà (yuri, unique art, made me cry)
* Snow White with the Red Hair (very funny at times imo, technically SOL not set in present day, fantasy, AWESOME side cast with insane chemistry and well-written dialogue)
* almost anything i’ve given an 8+ to, tbh π€£
I'm glad u loved Horimiya and Kaguya Sama Tho im REALLY curious abt why u disliked oshi no ko, dr stone and the breaker.
Also, I added Mikkakan no Koufuku to my list after seeing it in ur favs + it was only 1 vol long. It seems pretty interesting, so I'm looking forward to it ><
Thx for your Present!
I read Teenage Renaissance! David-kun, and it was pretty interesting. Ik u said that "the entire main cast is based on famous pieces of art", but man... I really underestimated that sentence...
Seeing how the cast was LITERALLY from pieces of art and the several other references, I couldn't help but be amazed.
I've added Inuyashiki to my PTR. I'll read it some time later. I enjoyed the anime, so, im sure the manga wont be a let down.
I've also added Nega-kun to Posi-chan to my PTR and I'll read it after Inuyashiki.
Glad to know that u r also a bakuman lover, but i sorta have a habit of not reading the manga if I watched it's anime or not watching the anime if i read it's manga... well, I'll be sure to check out bakuman too ^^
Also, ik this is late, but, Happy New Year!
