First, i found the history, a few characters (like Eiji Niizuma) and the informations given about a mangaka life interesting. I liked the fact that some characters was based on real life mangakas and editors, and this manga gave me the feeling of a real life thing because the use of shonen jump and some shonen jump manga references that was made (Slum Dunk...). The manga ending is really good (in my opinion).
But i found the story progression predictable, and i din't like the personalities girl characters.
So i give it a 7 score.
Despite having heard of about Bakuman i never started reading it, but now knowing is creators made me feel interested .
Thanks for the recommendations , i will read them both.
Oysumi Punpun is one manga that reminds me homunculus in some aspects, maybe it would please you.
