I try to mediate my own thoughts on the anime I watch using the reactions of everyone around me, so my scores don't necessarily equate to my own enjoyment, though they won't completely contradict each other either. Perhaps it's not a good idea, but that's for me to find out. I used to find the impossible ideal of objective, emotion-less critique a beautiful goal to pursue.
The Weird-Scale is something I thought up to help me decide what I would show to non-anime watchers, if I wanted to introduce them to anime. The higher the number, the "weirder". The highest it can go is 3, right now. Think of it as, should I show this to a beginner in anime? 1= Yes, 2= Maybe?, 3=No.
I rate weirdness in ways that aren't actually weird TO ME, and they might not be to you, but they're probably weird to someone who doesn't watch anime. If you want to go in-depth, message me and I'll tell you what the factors involved in my rating are.
My manga scores are completely about my enjoyment.
I may have shit taste, and I like to get hyped and fangasm as much as the next guy.
I'm much more active over at Anilist (
