I personally completely hate that my friend told me to skip the OVA because it was like a failed attempt by Baki, I didn't see it like that, maybe in a way it's an old OVA (first attempt to adapt Baki) but thanks to the writers of Grappler Baki 2001 having mentioned what happened in the OVA.

I have not read Baki's manga or manga (because a friend explained to me) that each Baki brought to the screen is a different manga, I hope to read his manga in the future since I am becoming a fan of boxing animes (I have seen little) to mention a few would be: 1.
