It's awesome that someone else hate on characters, because of their uncool looks :D I actually prefer King of Fighters over other fighting games, because characters there looks cooler. (and because gameplay is better, of course) His "undeveloped" power doesn't bother me in the fights, but concept of such a gap between captains is not very appealing. Power inconsistency is actually what i dislike the most about Naruto. It feels like a lot of people in Naruto doesn't deserve their position and i don't want same thing happen to Bleach.

If you didn't enjoy first 20 episodes of CG, then you probably won't enjoy the rest of it. First season ends with a cliffhanger and second season starts in a very disappointing way.

I personally, perfectly fine with death in an action anime (for the most part), especially if situation demands it. Like when character should kill another character, because if he won't do it, his friends (for example) will die. But in slice of life type of shows, it really bothers me a lot. I can't remember any SoL, where death wasn't thrown there, just to create drama.

I didn't felt the same about Tousen, but even if i did... i like some of the generic power hungry villains. So, it wouldn't be a problem. Can't say why i like them, maybe they just bring good memories about series in general or maybe they are cool at being power hungry, lol I would say that in two cases without them their respective animes wouldn't be that good. One of them pretty much single handedly made the anime. Because Hitsugaya is a kid or because his pairing with Rangiku? Both? You can say it. I personally dislike Chopper just because he's cute :P

Why? I always find it weird, because giant robots are basically just tanks. I can't remember anyone who dropped anime, just because there were tanks. To be honest, i feel like mecha/sci-fi is my favorite genre of anime. Maybe you should try Gundam 00 or original Macross? If you won't like those two, then there is probably no hope left. I know at least two Gundam 00 fans who are also Bleach fans and Gundam 00 in general reminds me of Bleach with giant robots instead of zanpakutos. It's more realistic than TTGL and there is much more mecha than in Code Geass. In Macross it's just part of the setting, while anime itself concentrates on romance and... how to say it... cultural differences between humans and aliens. Can't say you missed to much by not watching NGE. Last 6 episodes were super rushed, movie improved some of it, but at the same time added some other problems. You can watch rebuilds. No one spoiled them for you, right? But must warn you that third movie will confusing even if watched original NGE.

Well, in action shows someone has to die so there will be a sense of danger in the future. But i understand you, sometimes i do not like it myself. In one of the animes i really enjoyed, authors killed the best character in the end for no reason. Not even sense of danger. It was already the end! There was no point in killing him AT ALL! It didn't changed my opinion about the show, but i still felt upset.

That's why i've gone completely defensive for a while and looked at every anime/manga very negatively. I even gave like 2 to AssClass manga for no good reason, but when i started to watch anime of it i felt like i was complete asshole, lol I think one the reasons why people are doing it is that they are force themselves to watch particular anime even if they don't like it. For example, if i would drop Fairy Tail before episode 20 or so, then i wouldn't hate it at all, but because it was so popular i've decided to continue and it was one of the worst decisions in my life. With every episode my anger grew more and more (because i didn't had any fun at all) till the point, when i was getting angry just by looking at people who had Fairy Tail in their favorites. I feel like if it's like a chore for you to watch something then you should drop it. (it will be better for everyone) If you are forced yourself to watch something you don't like, then the only guilty person is you.

Exceptions? Interesting to know who... but don't spoil me. I've stopped at pretty much the moment when anime ends (even in the manga). I am waiting till the manga ends or anime will come back. Bleach is one of the few manga/anime where i like everyone, even villains. I don't know, they are just such a cool guys. Usually there is at least one person in the anime that i hate (sadly you dropped both anime with a good examples) or a ton bland characters, but in Bleach i am positive about every character that i can remember which is insane if you think about it. I even like Fullbringers! What i also really like is that girls are not too girly and can put up a fight. I don't like dominant women, but i like when girl can take care of herself.

Aslo, why are you dropped Code Geass and TTGL?

You don't like when characters are dying? Usually it's the other way around.

I feel like i am the only person i know who liked the art when first saw it, lol I was really open minded back then. One Piece was actually my second anime after Bleach (before that i didn't watched anime for like 8 years or so), my third one was Naruto and i pretty much liked them in that order. That's one of the reasons why i felt like "maybe i prefer Bleach only because i saw it first".

I personally never was a big fan of Naruto, it was enjoyable, but never on the same level as Bleach or One Piece. When i look at Naruto i just can't find anything that would really appeal to me. Character design doesn't look that great, story is predictable and there is like two cool characters while in Bleach EVERYONE is my favorite. I just love them all T0T I want figure of each of them! Sad that there is not a lot of good figures :/ With One Piece it is a different story, because i can see myself liking it and it's kinda terrifying, because then i would be a different person who didn't like Bleach that much and i don't want that >_< It may sounds strange, but i like to be bias towards Bleach xD

Bleach is what got me into anime and why i'm still watching anime. I just never had that much fun before i saw it for the first time. I like to think that other battle anime would had such an effect on me, but my first Gundam was 00 and it is still my favorite. So, maybe it is partly nostalgia. What was you first battle anime? Do you think that you would like them the same, if you had watched them in a different order?

Just want to warn you. I am really hardcore about Bleach. I like it more than any other popular series and i may offend them for many different reasons. Still want to be friends with me?

I know right? It is an amazing anime! :( But I'm pretty sure that they are ending it because they got really close to the manga. Remember how I said that the author puts this series on a lot of hiatuses? Well he did it recently again, but it will be back this week... I think. I'm 100% sure that they will continue! This series has been in the top 10 manga sales of the year many times despite having no new volumes released. But it will probably take a few years for the anime to go on again because of Togashi...
