"It could have been simply called "The daily life of Josuke & Co.", because it has lost all the JoJo esence."
I will preface my first point by saying that JoJo has most definitely not lost its, "essence." The thing that makes JoJo, 'JoJo' consists of its ability to subvert the genre it has adopted with its effusively endearing cast of characters and unique plot (for the genre it is in).
"The "male action ingredient" that characterized it has been gone"
I do agree that the action is less impactful than in previous parts but the male action ingredient' isn't what characterised the entirety of JoJo; JoJo is made unique by how it constantly changes its art-style and genre, but will still retain the same unconventional animal-mutilating characters to subvert the established genre (if only ever so slightly).
If you're referring to the art-style change, then I would make the same argument whilst also noting that Araki has a tendency to constantly change his art-style (even throughout a single part).

"Leaving a few episodes where "something" happens, where the rest is anything random."
I would argue that JoJo part 3 is guiltier of committing the act of, "Something happens" and, "The rest is anything random" mostly because of the episodic nature of it; JoJo part 4 deviates from being episodic more frequently than JoJo part 3 does, and you rated it a 9/10
"Faces are sometimes deformed and their expressions are weird."
If we are talking about animation errors, there have been errors but definitely less than JoJo part 3.
The colour combination of the environment is awful."
This is the point I understand the least. How it the colour combination awful? I'd say it's the best since part 1; not as overbearing as part 3 was at times.
"It has become the opening of any (bad) slice of life series,
"Of course, this applies to both openings."
So the 2nd opening is your average slice of life op? Of course your average slice of life op is layered with the subtle details of the foreboding (sarcasm).
"Characters are not as charismatic as before. Even Jotaro has changed (mostly because of the drawing style)."
So you're saying the art-style made Jotaro less charismatic? WHAT? The characters are as wacky and insane as they have always been (if that's what you mean by charismatic); something that hardy changes in JoJo.
I don't agree with that as the source for charisma though; characters like Kira (the villain of JoJo part 4) is charismatic because of his intricately detailed character that doesn't amount to, "I'm evil because I'm evil." that you see in many anime today (like Re;zero)
Since the meat of your review ends there, I guess I'm finished.
Ikr, while others were lining up behind Re:0, I was patiently waiting for this. I read up that this prequel was manga at some point. Can't believe that people allowed it to be adapted into an anime. With my expectations shattered, I am really afraid of what to expect from the upcoming Natsume anime. I just hope they don't mess that up too :/ .
Hola! Interesante, vives en Madrid ? Podemos hablar español si quieres ^^
I really like Jojo! One of my favorite series ^^ I haven't started watching it since I have read the manga so I'll just wait for it to finish airing before I watch it. I also think it looks pretty good ^^ I hope it remains faithful to the original source material
Hola!
I have been recommended the show before actually, but to be honest I have heard from several sources that it is riddled with fan service, especially Nisemonogatari. The animation does look amazing though, and if you say it has deep conversations and interesting stories... maybe I will give it ago.
I have a lot episodes to catch up with though.
I agree, and I really do hope they get the ending right so that I can keep that 10/10 by the time it finishes.
Also, I'm pretty sure Monogatari is, at best, a good story about fan service.

....I wouldn't say its good either, because every taste is the same for me :)
