Never let the flames of hope fade away. Do not give in to your despair. Do not succumb to your inner demons. Embrace life's daily struggle and find the strength to carry your own heavy sword of hope and fight until you see the light. Let these small moments of happiness light your path always
The german dub is not bad, its pretty good actually but it still doesn't come close to the japanese dub.
Yeah anime or manga that don't have their setting in japan are indeed rare. Its funny how they pronounce names like Bertholdt in japan :D
I think the best example of a anime set in germany is Monster. Even things like the trainstation in frankfurt are exactly like the real life version, Urasawa put very much time into his research.
I remember when I was 13 I was super edgy at that time and thought everything that is popular is overrated so I actually thought the same about aot and never watched it until I was 17. Thank god I changed my mind about that :D
-alliance: don't get me wrong I don't have any problem with a alliance in general, but the formation and how the members act to each other even though they were enemies until a few days ago seems off to me, its rushed.
-Annie x Armin: the world is going to end and yet they are blushing at each other? seriously? Also, I would've liked it to get a little explanation about Armins feelings towards her, so far their relationship still feels weird.
-Historia: her POV is pretty much non-existent. We needed that many chapters ago why drag it out until the very last chapter, just unnecessary (if that even happens).
-Eren: same goes for him, why drag his POV out so much? Just to maintain the mystery artificially?
-Flying titan: it was just out of nowhere and made Hanges sacrifice unnecessary.
-last but not least (if I haven't forgotten anything) the last fight between Eren and the alliance: I don't even know where to start there are so many wrong things that happened in the last chapters: characters simply not dying and saving each other in the last second, Eren just doing nothing while getting defeated easily "tatakae" my ass, the rushed conversation between Armin and Zeke, Zekes death stopping the rumbling, the wall titans stopping even though they should roam around randomly. So many random things are happening without any explanation at all like Armin and Zeke just randomly awakening past titan shifters so that they could help them to stop the rumbling, Eren Kruger and Grisha also trying to stop Eren which is completely contradictary to what they did before, Erens head being randomly in his colossal titans mouth and Mikasa knows that for whatever reason, Levi still being able to use the odm gear even though he is half dead, some questionable dialogue or monologue by some characters, Gabi having aim bot to shoot that okapi titan (why was that even a thing?). I'm sure there is stuff that I've missed but I think you get why I don't like this arc.
All in all the writing is definitely a downgrade from the rest of the manga.
I mean, the Dark Souls remaster didn't even change much in terms of graphics while the Demon Souls remaster made the game look amazing. Most people I met criticized that it didn't make any improvements gameplay wise.
As for Bloodborne honestly I don't remember. Since I knew that I probably wouldn't be able to play it again I just screwed around a little and the last thing I did was fight a guy with an axe and a pistol. Just writing about it makes me want to play it again. Maybe after I'm done with the NieR:Replicant remake.
I played it on a friend's Ps4 until the first Boss if I remember correctly and I loved it but sadly I don't have a Playstation myself. I'd really like to continue it at some point though, which is why I've been thinking about getting a Ps4 for a while and now with the Demon Souls remake coming out on Ps5 I'm more and more tempted to get one.
I still like Wolf's Rain. It's been awhile since I sat down and watched it but I'm sure it would still be in my favorites if I ever do. It just found the right blend of melancholy and mysticism to work. Most shows usually overdo it and fall apart but I think Wolf's Rain pulled it off nicely. Rakugo was actually my anime of the year for 2016 and I actually reviewed it. It's my second favorite romance drama right behind Nana. Rakugo has a Shakespearian feel to it that I haven't gotten since Gankutsuou (oh hey, another recommendation lol). See you around the comment section then, until next time :)
Agreed. I think I tried writing a review for the first season but it wasn't very good, and my review for the second one was basically a rant so it never got published :P Anyway thanks for the friend request c:

Also thanks for the fr :)
Sometimes I have the feeling that most mangaka don't know how to write a proper ending to their story.
But yeah there is no way Isayama can redeem this mess in one chapter.
