Nah fam I'm growing my ass hair to save on electricity bill during winter. Hate that moment when your ass just freezes when sitting down. But I'm pretty sure I called my self kid, like my past self, lil kid me :^)
After "Highschool" no, but right now I'm in a school to learn software development so I'll be working in that field hopefully if nothing goes wrong in the future ^_^
(Ooooo, is Deathko's birthday really in two days ?? :o)
I'm glad I made your day just a little better than before ^^
Ommggg tbh even though I'm years from being out of school yet, I just can't stop thinking about how I'm going to find a job, judging by what you and many people have said it looks scary hard :S
I'm doing fine ^_^ thx for asking and no not yet unfortunately, I still have like 2 weeks or so of school with maaaany tests coming my way Dx
I've been getting outside more lately, but I still feel like I'm never going to meet anyone. I say "hello" to some people I pass by, as it is a very common thing to do where I live, but I only say hello to older people, and never to people my age or younger, because younger people tend to not be very friendly.
All good points, though I wouldn't say there are no short circuits of distribution in cities. I live in a city of about one million people and I can walk to a farmer's market, as well as places that sell locally produced shirts, bread, soap, beer (maybe not that important), probably other stuff. Some of those stores sell boutique/speciality products and there are limiting factors (like not enough land to grow all food locally), but urban areas have some green potential. From an environmental perspective, I think the happy middle ground is probably small but dense towns surrounded by farmland.
How did you feel about not having a phone / how do you feel about having one now?
I agree with that and those sound very useful, though we buy our potatoes and carrots. My parents grow mostly tomatoes and spicy peppers. We used to have cucumbers as well, but we haven't planted them in years. Aside from that, we sometimes plant spring onions, have some raspberry bushes, some wild, small strawberries, a little cherry tree with lots of fruits around the beginning of June, and a plumb tree that produces lots of fruits that are good for cakes ^^
btw.: self-grown tomatoes are much, much tastier than store-bought ones, because they have more fruit flesh and acid in them, so we don't even need vinegar as a topping in most cases :p
True, and I'm also all thumbs xD
I can recognize some of the most common broad-leaved trees based on the form of their leaves and sometimes, of the form of the bark. For example, birch trees have white spots in their bark, maple tress have leaves shaped like a hand and oak trees have their leaves shaped with round curves in an oval form. As for knowledge about woods, I only know that oak wood is a sturdy type of it.
I find it very remarkable that you're able to do all these things yourself :)
Though in practice, cooking and gardening isn't that hard, it's just very time-consuming
What food have you been growing?
Hope you manage with your oven project, it sounds awesome :D
Unfortunately, "patience" doesn't exist in my dictionary :p
And I've never really been the type for crafting. But if I could, I would like to be able to make my own furniture, because the "modern" standard ones from Ikea and similar shops look so plain and boring
Oh I'm still in the old bank lol
The new bank told me to wait more since they are having some problems and are not hiring at this time.
But they told me how they already chosen to hire me.
You will get a job soon don't give up, for now just whine a little lol

Got any luck with your job search ? :o
What I really hate, is how almost everyone is into blue-collar trades where I live. Everyone is so masculine, and I hate it.
