I mostly read manga.
I only update my list when i finish something.
Hey, I noticed you're reading Magi. How different is it from the anime adaption? The first season of the anime ends at around volume 13 so I'm going to assume that the next season will end at 26. That's going to be a few years before we get those released in English. I want to buy the manga but I don't wanna be reading the same stuff as I have just watched, and then be excited for another volume to be released only to read what I've seen in animated form.
Throughout the decades, various writers weighed their thoughts on influential, groundbreaking, unique, or significant anime. New articles are still being included as they release roughly one a month. It's a solid history lesson or sorts that may help you find something new! :)
