This site really needs a feed type thing a la social media.. guess the blog can work like that a little?
7-11-2021. Haven't bothered to update any anime for a good long time (Mendokusai). This is but a pinch of all that I've watched, and a good many more read.
Bio:
A Christian and an anime lover (30% riajuu/35% otaku/35% weeb) looking for anime friends with similar watching/reading interests. I've never considered myself a huge fan until April of 2014 when I attended Anime Detour with some friends. It's been full steam ahead since then :)
I tend to rate things based on enjoyment, first and foremost. That being said, if something is of noticeably poor or good quality, that can play a part. I love when a good anime has a good OST, specifically the OP and ED. It just heightens the experience. Also, I'm not a huge fan of dark shows where everybody dies, the bad guys win, etc. It's easy enough for me to brood as it is; I don't need additional fuel. That being said, if there's dark elements with a balance of the stuff I enjoy, then I can get into the show.
8-10 rating puts stuff into my 'top' list. 8 is the base level of my favorites, 9 means i really enjoyed it and it's probably a great example of its genre, etc, and 10 means it's one of my all time favorites: plot line was one I really liked, the things it tried to do it did very well, and many of the things that happened or the humor it used were right up my alley. 7 means that it's watchable but I didn't love it. The exceptions to any one of these is certain things in the anime that I don't like, which could drop it a point, but for the most part this is accurate.
The anime/manga/light novels listed on my profile are by no means an exhaustive list. I've kept track for awhile now on my own, and I add things as I think of them or feel like it, really. Mostly I'm just adding the stuff that's the best or that I've really enjoyed.
I'm also a fairly avid PC gamer. Not as much as I used to be, but I've played wow since the beginning (more on and off as it goes, I still enjoy the lore), and a variety of other things, too. Mostly play sandbox types games these days, but I do enjoy talking about them a bit :)
At any rate, I need more anime friends to share the ups and downs of this interesting hobby! Especially people with similar tastes :) If any of this sounds interesting to you shoot me a friend invite. Or just shoot me a friend invite if you feel like it (Please send me a message of why you added me, thanks)
A couple of my favorite AMVs. I love AMVs. They capture those moments that really make you remember why you started to love anime, encapsulated in a few nostalgic minutes <3

I'm fine as long as I get my eight hours of sleep. I tend to slack off more when I don't get enough sleep (I blame the books, who told them to be so interesting).
I've long come to the conclusion that all adults are just pretending to be adults. Some are more successful than others but still just pretenders in the end.
Ugh. I love them but they are exhausting. Our relationships have always been better with some distance put between us. And it's a delicate balance - deciding just how many days to spend with them. One week is not enough, everyone's gonna cry and say I should have stayed for more. And after two weeks there's fighting and murderous intent everywhere. They expect me to spend a week at my sister's and two weeks at mom's this time. I can only hope to survive and keep my sanity by the end of it.
Oh the pains of living an adult life. Right now I'm debating whether to visit my family for Christmas and New Year's . I realised that I'm more interested in the free food.
Who knows :P
Isn't 2 pm a bit early to be messing around? Although who am I to judge, I work remotely from home and tend to take long breaks to read unrelated to work materials xD
'Tis alright. Almost night on this side of the world though.
I've seen you before both on mal and on gogo so I guess we were bound to cross paths eventually.
