I feel that the 1 - 10 rating scale doesn't capture how much I enjoy or not enjoy a series, so I have my own system for that. I also only score after completion, anything dropped or on-hold doesn't get a rating. I rate according to a scale of 6 - 10, with 5 serving as the absolute minimum; anything that doesn't pass the 5 mark is probably discontinued, most of the time simply dropped, thus not receiving any rating.

This rule has some exceptions, that are usually accompanied by an explanation in the "comments" section of each entry.

I also don't rate most type of specials and/or OVA releases unless there's a reason to, usually accompanied by an explanation.

I write a summary of my thoughts and opinions on most of the stuff I finish [complete], but I don't know if others can see that.
