Mayo Chiki!

Both shows have a harem style plot (or lack thereof) and have girls pretending to be butlers. There is also a similarity between Saikyou Tomomi and Kanade Suzutsuki in that they are both "S" type character who are out to ruin the protagonist's day. Though the comedies differ in setting and character backgrounds, the style are somewhat similar.

Nichijou

Both are great comedies that rely on rather random stories to provide humor. Characters drive both shows with magnificent displays of stupidity at the most unfortunate times. If you feel like getting away from all the overly perverted jokes that are now saturating the air waves, check these out.

Denpa-teki na Kanojo
|
Both are extremely captivating murder mysteries, while Death note focuses on the supernatural Denpateki simply relies on the darkness found in all humans. The mystery in both is quite entertaining as well as well written. Also Ochibana resembles "L" in many ways and provides the same type of detective prowess that makes Death Note so great.

Asobi ni Iku yo!
|
DearS and Asobi have very similar settings with a less than stellar male protagonist and an air-headed alien (minus the cat ears) with unknown background. They also share a secondary female character with which to play yet another typical love triangle filled with wonderful and inopportune misunderstandings (aka everyone's favorite, fan service, etc.)
