Hello~!
If You are interested in events like ISML or Japanease Saimoe, You should also be interested in European Saimoe event organized by the Senpuu Society. Give it a chance and vote for your favorite heroine in fierce battle of flames!
The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

As you can see, we have quite the long lineup of girls for our first round. Half of them will be eliminated after this round, though, so please vote to help us decide who stays and who goes!
P.S. Due to the club having so many members, we aren't able to send out newsletters to all of our members. If you would like to receive newsletters from the Slice of Life Club, post here.
Our newsletters include notifications on when our competition rounds start, club event information, information on our monthly banner contest (new feature starting in September), news about updates and changes to the club, etc.
P.S.S We are in need of active card makers!
We do a few monthly editions and we really need some more card makers to help out with those. If you are interested in applying, click here.
Hello, everyone! I'm sending out this newsletter to inform everyone of a competition that the Slice of Life Club is currently hosting! If you're interested in voting on character polls, cute girls and/or winning a profile picture or banner, then keep reading!
The Slice of Life Club is hosting a Moe Competition! The competition will go on from now until September. I've split all of the characters up into four different groups. Each group will come down to a finalist and all four finalists will face off in a championship round. In total, there will be five different voting rounds (including the championship round). As promised back in November, the winner of the competition will be featured on the club layout and the finalists will have a special card edition made in their honor.
For additional information on the Moe Competition and match schedules, click here!
But wait, there's more! Are you interested in winning a profile picture or a banner? If so, >click here< to find out how!
The Slice of Life Club is currently looking to hire some more admins!
If you'd be interested in helping us make card editions or sending out invites for the club, please click here to apply!
The Slice of Life Club is having a banner making contest. The grand prize winner will get their own special card SE of choice.

The Slice of Life Club is pleased to announce we made it to 600+ members! We won't have any milestone LE cards for 600, but the 500 milestone cards are still in the process of being made (due to the club growing so fast we're a bit behind). Zensunni will have the best kiss scene LE cards up soon.
In the meantime...
We're doing our second claim theme! This time around we are allowing members to each claim one Slice of Life TV series, OVA, special, or movie of their choice. For more information and to make a claim, please click here.
NOTE: Please read the thread rules before posting.
Upcoming events:
- In January/February we will do our third claim theme. The next theme will be claiming EDs and OPs from Slice of Life series.
- In December toridoshi will be making special Christmas/Winter LE club cards.
Well, that's all the news for now.
Thanks for reading. ^___^
The Slice of Life Club has reached over 250 members! We're soon on our way to 300. To get a sneak peek at our couples theme milestone cards for 300 members, click here. You can suggest couples to be turned into cards. Toridoshi will make any suggested couples as long as she can find good fanarts of them and they are part of the Slice of Life genre.
As most of you know, we had an ongoing tournament for the 100 milestone LE cards. The tournament has come to an end and the cards are available to request (courtesy of zensunni). Only the first one hundred people that request can get one of these cards. To request one, click here.
The Slice of Life Club will be holding our first event! In the future we'll do banner making events for the club with card and profile pictures rewards for the winners, but we decided to start out with something a little different for the first event. The first event will be a scavenger hunt across MAL. There will be four teams for the event and the winning team will get to pick between winning a LE Haruhi Suzumiya card or a LE Takashi Natsume card. We need at least 40 people to participate. For more information on the event, to see the LE cards, and to sign up, click here.
Lastly, since the claims for our club were so popular it was decided that Toridoshi will be hosting more claim themes in the future for the club. Please visit this thread to vote for what you would like our next claim theme to be.
The Slice of Life Club has reached over 100 members! To celebrate this milestone we're holding a tournament for limited edition member cards. To get in your nominations for the tournament and find out more information on it, please go here.
Our official member cards are finally here. To request a member card for the Slice of Life Club, go here.
The claims are coming to an end! It has been decided that claims will be open eight more days. Only two people may request per day, three characters can be requested, so it's first come first serve. Every couple months we will do claims like this with different themes in the future.
To get your bulk claims in, please go here.
(Note: If more than two people request per day I'll delete the requests to keep the thread clean.)
Club Officers wanted!
The club is in the need for a few more club officers. While having another person to help with invites and notifications would be good, club officers with photoshop skills are needed more. If anyone is really good with photoshop and can help with cards when they have some spare time, please apply here.
We have a chatroom now!
If you ever are bored and have some time to kill, come to the Slice of Life chatroom. It would be great to see more members drop in there throughout the day and get to know each other.
70 members in a few days. I think that the Slice of Life Club is off to quite a good start. I was honestly a bit concerned that the club might not do so well (just from being a worry wort at times), so seeing it doing well for the beginning is quite a happy thing. I would like to thank all of the members who joined so far and double thank all of the members who have posted or invited friends to help the club start out. I appreciate it a lot and look forward to seeing this club grow.
Now for the more important stuff. Slice of Life Club is doing character claims for characters from any series from the Slice of Life genre. If you haven't claimed a character yet and would like to, you can do so here. I have the idea in the back of my head to allow people to claim Slice of Life anime series and couples in the near future as well. If I get positive feedback about that idea I'll be sure to open up a poll for everyone to leave their input very soon. Secondly, since the genre has hundreds (perhaps even thousands) of characters to pick from, we're doing a nomination thread to pick the characters that will be used for our member cards. If you would like to nominate your favorite character and help the club out a bit, you can do so here.
We are looking for more people to join the Union that are wanting to start a blog, just started one or is already an experienced blogger! We want to create a place for resources, a place to meet other bloggers and general conversation! :c)
